Story
My sweet, neutered, almost 5-year-old Yorkie/Pom needs to be rehomed due to my ongoing health concerns. Bear needs to be in a home with children over 13, as most of his life has been spent around older children and adults. He is fine around younger children, just not all the time. He is used to having someone home most of the time, and we would prefer to rehome him in a similar environment. He is gentle little boy who has lived with cats and loves nothing more than curling up next to you. He is not one for walks; he prefers to get his exercise by chasing after his favorite toy or running around outside, so a fenced yard is a must. Anyone interested in adopting him should be aware that he will need time to adjust to new surroundings. We got him as a rescue from an abusive breeder 3 years ago, and it took him about a month to become accustomed to his new surroundings, so patience and perseverance will be needed.
