Nina is a little shiny diamond-in-the-ruff. Her cuteness bursts out in a her prancey walk, sweet smiles, and adoration of toys! Once all her sniffing is done, she gets little silly playful spells and shows her youthful side. Tho a little bossy with some dogs, she can come around and play well with the right companion to teach her. Jim Bob is a 1 year old brindle boy with the cutest ears and white spotted chest and feet. He weighs 35 lbs right now and we think they may have  Mountain Curr/ Cattle dog/ Plott Hound/ and Lab in them but it is hard to say other than that they are cute! Jim Bob showed up on a farm with his brother and sister and they fostered them until room opened up at the rescue. They are good around farm animals and have learned house and leash manners since being at the rescue. He is good with cats, kids and dogs. Jim Bob is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative, and dewormed! His adoption fee is $250.April 29, 2024, 10:16 pm

Yeah yeah, he shares a name with that famous book dog. But unlike him, our Marley is past the puppy nonsense and already has his basic manners and play skills down pat (well...keeping it real...he can't catch worth anything!). But just like that other Marley, our boy is looking for that home that will stay true, through thick or thin, for better or worse.  ~  Est DOB: May 2014 ~  Est weight:  60#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 1, 2024, 8:55 pm

Story
Snuggle. Bunny. Yes, we know Luna is in fact a dog, but we just consider that a bonus! You won't need to file her teeth and good-mannered Luna is much less likely to chew your electrical cords (tho she can hop a fence).  She is much easier to take on walks, tho she thinks cardio is over-rated. This low-key girl much prefers your lap. Thoughtful to a fault, she knows there is no room in that lap for other critters, so asks to be your only snuggle bunny. ~  Est DOB: Mar 2018~  Intake weight:  49#  ~  Adoption details/application: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 1, 2024, 8:55 pm

Story
Sure, you've heard it before. 'He's just the biggest baby.' But this is Neptune, and he is THE *biggest* baby! He is a slow-intros kindof a boy, because he needs a lot of babying and reassurance before he lets his true self shine. Then he becomes the king of goofy grins and silly sweetness. With his nice manners and housetraining, Neptune is all set to be your handsomest housemate (which is great, because being left outside alone gives this big baby the blues).  A quiet fellow, he lets his smile and his charm do his speaking for him. Once you are best buds, he'll even let you dress him like a baby doll (cuz he's such a  doll baby!).  He likes other dogs but is terrified of those untrustworthy cats.   ~  DOB:7/15/2020  ~  Intake weight: 53#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.html  May 1, 2024, 8:55 pm
