Story
Kenzo, neutered male, 8-months-old, 35-lbs If you would like to give KENZO a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application About Kenzo: Kenzo is cheerful and affectionate by nature. He is highly food-motivated, which makes him a breeze to train! He will bark to alert you when strangers approach the house, but he stops as soon as he is told to. He is an absolute cuddle-bug who loves to cling to his humans, yet he doesn’t have separation anxiety. He is also full of puppy energy and absolutely loves chasing and playing with other dogs. Despite his young age, Kenzo is very well trained in recall and basic commands. He *loves* outings: walks, hikes, car trips, dog parks, etc. He has no trouble with 1-2 hour hikes in the hills. Kenzo’s rescue story: Kenzo mother was dumped in the mountains last year – heavily pregnant and looking like she was about to give birth at any moment. Starving, she inhaled the food we provided like a vacuum cleaner. With no scratches and looked relatively clean, it was obvious she used to have home but abandoned by one heartless owner. Fortunately, she had a very sweet, people-friendly personality, so we were able to found her a foster home smoothly. Less than three days later, she gave birth to an astonishing 11 puppies! It was overwhelming, to say the least. The sheer exhaustion and hard work of caring for 11 puppies is beyond words. Over time, six of them were successfully adopted. However, despite multiple adoption drives in Taiwan, we couldn’t find the right homes for the remaining pups., which led us to look for international adoption opportunities. Kenzo and Koda are two of those remaining puppies. Among the two siblings, Kenzo is calm and steady, while the other is lively. Both are incredibly smart and sweet.
