Story
Meet Pickett with a great big smile, and you're sure to get one right back from him! This energetic, explorative boy is just over a year old, so very much still a puppy. Pickett loves to sniff, hear and see the world! But call his name and he comes right back. He's intrigued by other dogs, but we're still figuring out what the best household situation would be for him. He knows how to sit, but is learning his manners. He is also new to toys. So much to learn, and so much love to give! He is treat motivated, and is working on the down position well! Note from a volunteer: "Pickett , another smart cookie, Favorite 💋 this handsome boy will do just about anything for a treat ( commands , any pose for a photo) he is incredibly smart and exceptionyimproved on leash walks."

Story
Hello- my name is Aspen. I was part of a group of dogs found trying to fend for ourselves on the streets. We were caught and brought to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. While here, we have had all our vetting done and learned what being a dog is really all about. While I am still a little shy, I warm up pretty quickly once I am comfortable with you! I am estimated at 6 months old and look like a bulldog/cur mix- so I’m short and stocky! I have been friendly with other dogs here. I’ve only met cats a few times, but they seem okay, too. Due to my background before being rescued, I am looking for someone who will understand my shyness and help me become more confident. I would love it if we could take some classes together so I can learn how to be the best dog possible! My $250 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, microchip and deworming. If you want to make me part of your family please go to www.gofar.dog and complete a free, non-binding adoption application. If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21
