Story
Aspen is a sweet intelligent guy with some allergies that are controlled simply by diet. Aspen was adopted in 12/17 and returned 3/19 for a behavior change. Once back with us I reviewed all of his veterinary records from while he was in the home, the reasons he was seen and the multitude of times the family had boarded him in the short period he was with them. That explained a lot to me about this "behavior change". We put him on a special diet for allergies and have provided a stable environment for him, Aspen has been nothing but wonderful here just as he was in his foster home prior to the adoption in 12/17. He's a great dog, comical, loves to play, loves water and needs a "forever" home with out children, female canine companion only. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org Visits are scheduled by appointment only via emailing request to ownedbycaninesandlovit@yahoo.com   March 11, 2026, 12:46 pm

Story
Meet Percy! Percy is a goofy, lovable estimated 1.5-year-old boy with a heart full of joy and so much love to give. He’s always wiggling with excitement and has a way of making everyone around him smile. Not only is he full of personality, but Percy is incredibly handsome, with the most striking bright blue, soulful eyes that will melt your heart the moment you meet him. This happy guy is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate—he loves to prance around proudly with his toys, show off his silly personality, and then curl up for snuggles when he’s all tuckered out. Percy is a total cuddle bug who adores attention and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Percy is dog-friendly and absolutely loves to play and wrestle with his canine friends, so he would do great with a playful companion or regular opportunities to socialize. He enjoys being active but also has a soft, cuddly side and loves being close to his people. He’s still a young guy, so he’ll benefit from continued guidance and routine as he grows into the best version of himself. Percy is eager to please and would thrive in a home that can give him love, consistency, and lots of playtime. Whether it’s play time, cuddle time, or just hanging out with his people, Percy is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s looking for his forever home—a family who will embrace his goofy charm, fall in love with those beautiful blue eyes, and give him the life he deserves. *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis
