Mountain Cur Hound (Unknown Type)

Male, puppy
Mooresville, IN
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
My name is Palmer. I am about 4 months old I'm still trying to find my coordination. I think I'm growing too fast so I'm still a clumsy boy. My foster mom thinks I'm a Black mouth cur/hound mix so I might be a big boy when I've reached my mature height. All dogs and cats are my friends whether they like it or not. Im as social as it gets. We're working on house and crate training and not to toot my own horn, but it's going swimmingly. I even know sit already! I love humans but my lanky body might pose a threat to a small child. Im just too clumsy! If interested in adopting please fill out my application

Female, adult
Indianapolis, IN
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Spayed or Neutered,
Hi there- my name is Juliette. I am a very sweet mama dog who has raised my puppies and am now ready to find my forever home. I would likely fit well into most homes and love everyone I meet and I also love to play with soft toys. If you have a resident dog we would need to do an intro at the shelter to make sure we will be best friends forever!

Plott Hound

Female, 7 yrs 1 mo
Indianapolis, IN
(when grown) -
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Hello Everyone! My name is Brooke... I have to admit, I am an older Lady... but that doesn`t mean I`m not full of life and my best years are still ahead of me. I weigh 56 pounds and my brindle coat is simply beautiful. Unfortunately I found myself at the shelter through absolutely no fault of my own. I`m a very friendly, happy and social gal... I just need to find my forever person to spend the rest of my days with. Might that be you? I`d do best in a home with no small kids. Also I did absolutely wonderful for my intake exams! No tears even for all of my pokes. If I sound like your kind of Lady please make your way down to Indianapolis Animal Care Service and ask the nice peoples at the front desk to meet me... I know you won`t regret it! It`s hard to meet new people and pets quickly after leaving the shelter. I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. We`ll have pleanty of time to get to know everyone! *Please apply on our website at *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision. I hope to see you soon!
