Story
Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please!  This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families.  Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way.  She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance.  This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt.  Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL?  Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog.  Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash.  When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.  This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT?  If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies.  This Momma dog is just a young 2yr old, 40lb sweetheart who longs to be an inside dog that can cuddle up next to you on the couch and help you melt the life challenges away.   Oakley had outsmarted many rescuers for months running around the county with her litter of puppies being. When she gave in we realized what a remarkable Mom she was and the beauty of her puppies.  All of her puppies have been adopted, but now Oakley is raising her heart and hand to say…. Pick Me Too!  She deserves a remarkable future and life because she will provide the amazing dog companion to someone that can ever be imagined.  Forget the wrapper on the package and consider the heart please…You won’t regret living a life with Oakley. Story
??Meet Atlas ??Atlas didn’t end up at our shelter because she wasn’t loved—quite the opposite. Her family faced an impossible choice that no one should ever have to make: when they found themselves homeless and were accepted into a shelter, they learned what so many families in our area have discovered the hard way—most homeless shelters don’t accept pets.Faced with the heartbreaking ?? decision between keeping Atlas or securing shelter for themselves, her family made the difficult choice to surrender her. We’ve seen this story play out over and over again in our community, and our hearts go out to every family forced into this impossible situation. Now we want to give Atlas a happy ending and find her the loving home she deserves. This 4-year-old girl is full of life, love, and energy! Her previous family had her for about five months, and here’s what we know:? Great with everyone—lived with children and did wonderfully, plus she gets along with other dogs and cats? She is active and playful and needs plenty of exercise. She gets the zoomies, rolls in the grass, and staff describe her as wonderfully silly.? Leash pro—walks really well on leash, making her a joy to take on adventures? She loves attention and is very affectionate with people.Atlas was an outdoor dog and may need help with housebreaking and crate training. She needs an active family who will give her plenty of exercise and patience as she learns to live indoors. This sweet girl has already been through so much. She deserves a family who can give her stability, love, and a place to truly belong.Come visit Atlas at ?? 430 Bristol Dr. and see if you can complete her happy ending. #adoptfromicas #myicasrescue A313506 | 4-years-old | Spayed Female | Weight: 45.8 lbs Our dog adoption fee is 8??0??and includes: ??
