Peanut is a brindle mountain cur mix weighing about 25 lbs. He is about 1 year old. Peanut is a happy dog that loves to cuddle and lay on his blankets to get cozy while watching TV with his foster. He loves playing with other dogs and running around the yard. He loves to go for walks and explore. Peanut loves his toys and chewing on his bones. Peanut attended a 2-week training camp where he learned several commands such as sit, stay, heal, and more. Hi there, I'm Teressa, a 1.5-year-old, 68-pound, brindle, Mountain Cur mix. I'm looking for a compassionate and caring family who will love and be with me as much as possible. I'm a well-mannered dog who loves to snuggle with you and give kisses. I am so polite, I even wait for the vet while patiently seated in a chair! I'm great on a leash. I love people and I'm very loyal to them. I want to have people of my own who will treat me like a princess. I'm good with other dogs and even cats! I'm vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. I have heartworms which my rescue will have me treated for, and I'll be fine soon. I'm house trained but I don’t like the crate or being left alone. I have some separation anxiety and I cry when I'm left by myself. I need a family who will understand my feelings and help me work on this. I would do best with a family who is not away from the home most of the day. Maybe with a stay-at-home mom or work-from-home professional. I'm being fostered near Nashville, TN, but I can be transported for the right-fitting family. You must be 21 or older to apply, and you must be ready to give me a lot of love and attention. Ellie is a sweet, smart little girl with the cutest overbite. She was my partner's constant companion. When he passed, Ellie was distraught. She went from the center of attention to one of my three dogs. My chihuahua and she did get along. As time passed, they could not live in the same space. For several months, Ellie has lived with her wonderful dog sitter and the sitter's family, including 2 large German shepherds. She is doing well & deserves a person & family to call her own. She loves sitting in your lap & going for rides. She does this really cute thing when she gets excited and runs in circles and back and forth, and she can be a wiggle worm when her whole body wags. Everyone who meets her says how sweet she is. Ellie's birthday is 12-12-16, and she weighs under 20 lbs. She is potty trained to go outside. She takes 2 medications, & I give her Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora. I have her DNA & allergy testing results. She did grump @ my cat sometimes.
