Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Bruno, the adventurous 1-year-old, 29-pound Mountain Cur with a zest for life! Bruno's energy level is a solid 7 – he's a playful pup on a mission to explore every nook and cranny. A handsome boy, whose good looks are punctuated with a docked tail. Bruno is smart and loves playing fetch! Not much of a barker, he prefers wagging his tail to say hello to strangers, dogs, and even cats! This sweet, friendly boy assumes that everyone wants to be his friend. He hasn't been around kids, but we think he would be fine with them. Bruno's foster family loves his love for toys, especially the art of chewing and dismantling the stuffed ones. This social butterfly enjoys the company of other dogs, car rides, and is on the road to becoming a seasoned hiker. Bruno's foster assures us he's quickly learning housetraining and has started crate training & leash training. He may not know commands yet, but he's a quick learner ready for some basic obedience training. In the right home, Bruno promises to be your loyal hiking buddy and cuddle enthusiast. He's been introduced to belly rubs and is a fan! Ideal for someone experienced with hunting dogs or breeds that love a mental and physical challenge – ready to unlock Bruno's full potential. If you're ready for a lifetime of belly rubs and adventures, Bruno is your guy! Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. December 10, 2023, 1:45 pm
