Story
Bosley is the only boy in our Charles Angels litter. We got a call about 4 puppies that needed help. A young lady had thought she had a rescue lined up and they said they could not take the puppies when she took them to them. She was given our number and after talking to her we could not say no. These poor babies were at a house with no food, they were eating anything they could find. They were also near a road that they would have been killed. Bosley is the sweetest fellow and loves to snuggle. He is doing great with leash training and it would not be difficult to house train him as they are all so smart. He would be great for anyone. We can do a video if you would like too. All of us in the rescue have full time jobs as well as running the rescue so if you are interested in Bosley please go to our website www.doginghampalacerescue.org for our application. Then email the application back to doginghamrescue@aol.com. The fees on our website are very out dated, we are waiting on the lady to update everything. Since covid hit, it is hard to get into vets offices and prices have gone way up. The adoption fee and transport fee is explained below. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $450 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.

Story
Reba McIntyre….one of the smartest ladies in country music is who our girl is named after.  Our Black Mouth Cur mix girl (look up this unique breed and know that she is everything and more) is as smart as she is beautiful!  Our foster mom Angela who found her and her three brothers on the side of a country, rural road, says that Reba and her sibs are survivors.  But as usual you can expect that little Miss Reba is special with a sweet and gentle personality that also brings a calmness to all those around her.   Although they were found roaming on a back road, this girl is far from being a wanderer.  Actually she and her brothers quickly settled into knowing their foster home and all the rules and soon were the best little guests! They never leave your side! Reba and her brothers have been with small children, cats, other dogs, cows, and birds (the Guineas and chickens sleep on top of their dog house)  and aside from an intial curiosity they are overall passive about other animals and young toddlers and kids!  We think these pups are 4 months old and Reba might be a 60 pound girl (tops) when fully grown.  A good substantial but not huge girl that will be ready to observe, learn and obey your every command given with respect.  This girl could be a small farm girl that exists with the livestock that most dogs have no experience with.  Think about it.  She is the diamond in the rough and the true gem to be considered to adopt.  She is the IT girl puppy!   Please contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in the soul and not just the looks   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 23, 2024, 11:27 am

Story
Meet our Catahoula mix babies of between 3 and 4 months.  All girls, they make a fine litter of happy and energetic puppies.  They love to play with each other as well as other dogs, kids, and even their foster’s cat.  These girls all wear short coats, but of different colors.  Sofia is gray with white; Sema is tan with white; Shalene is white with black (and a bit of tan) and Sadie is brown with white.  Some bear Catahoula markings while others’ faces are enchantingly wrinkled in Sharpei fashion.  Between 20 and 25 puppy pounds, they will each mature to about 60. What a delight these baby girls are!  (posted 2/3/24, TN)  **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  May 23, 2024, 12:56 pm

Story
Meet Sage Girl, a 10-month-old mix of Pointer and Heeler! Sage is a bundle of joy whose playful spirit is sure to brighten your day. She is now 45 pounds but still has some filling in to do. Sage was found roaming the streets but luckily a Good Samaritan took her to safety. Her goofiness is infectious, leaving everyone she meets laughing at her funny antics. She's sweet too, always ready to give love and receive it in return. She wears a short brownish-black and white coat. Sage's youthful energy and playful nature make her the perfect companion for those who love an active lifestyle. Her sweet disposition makes her a great fit for families with other dogs. Adopt Sage and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend and a source of endless joy!
