Story
Charlie believes life is best enjoyed with good company, cozy blankets, and cats as roommates. He’s impressively cat-friendly—no chasing here! He’s totally cool letting cats stroll and play around him like they own the place (because, let’s be honest, they do). Charlie is still mastering his puppy skills, including potty training and learning that his crate is a safe, comfy hangout—not a mystery box. When he’s not practicing being a good boy, you’ll find him wrapped up in a warm blanket, ready for cuddles and naps. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, blanket-loving puppy who already respects cats and will happily steal your heart, Charlie is your guy! Story
Penny came with her 4 siblings into A Forever Home. This original litter of ten and their mama came out of a single-wide trailer in Southern Virginia until their owner was evicted. The mama and half of the siblings had found rescue elsewhere. Penny is friendly, affectionate, gentle and well trained! She is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps through the night and good on collar and leash. She can do stairs, wait in her crate, and can walk for a couple miles. She is quiet in her crate when in it. She has learned to be calm (has learned her “off switch”). She is great with people and other dogs. She has a gorgeous coat of reddish brown fur like a fox. Her left front paw is white, and she has white on her chest. She will make life more fun for any family. Dare we say - she’s really perfect!Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org March 3, 2026, 5:01 pm
