Story
***We have been working with poppy around cats and she has learned very quickly to treat them gently and with respect. Never unsupervised yet but she’s showing real improvement around them!*** She’s one of the biggest sweethearts I’ve ever met. Poppy is assumed to be a hound mix, originally rescued in lower Alabama when she was about 4 months old. She’s loves to love on her people and practice commands for treats. In a heartbreaking turn of events she needs to find a new home where she will be loved on. She would be best in a home without cats, or with a patient new parent who is willing to very very slowly train her to be okay around them. They scare her and she can get defensive around them. Rehoming fee includes leash, kennel, food bowl, food and a month of her current flea/tick/heartworm (Simparica Trio)

Story
Rambler is about 2 years old. He loves to play ball. He aspires to be a soccer professional. He is sweet and loves people. He is hyper and loves to run. He uses a doggie door to go in and out. He has an adopted brother and two adopted sisters (they need homes too). He gets along well with them. He loves people and attention. He is not leash trained. He is very smart and can be trained. We have to downsize because of serious health issues.

Story
Curdie is a 7 month old mix of the neighborhood dogs. I was offered the insight of (from) a dog groomer that he might have some boxer in him. He is very energetic and playful, has been known to be a talker. A whine or a bark is normally the way he lets us know he wants (or needs) to go outside. Loves being outside and soak in the sun while laying in the grass, and likes to cuddle at night when it is time to go to bed. Good at playing fetch, remarkably never really had a stage where he chewed on furniture, just sticks and bones. Has been an inside-outside dog, and has been left inside for long stretches of time without making a mess (like when we went on vacation and had someone coming by to check on them twice a day). Has weak knees for scratches and has been trained to answer to my wife's whistle (.. works most of the time). Hoping to find him a home that either has lots of room to run and be outside, or an active home with lots of walks, people to play with, etc.
