Story
Meet Neko: Your Personal 4-Legged Heating Pad! If your ideal Saturday involves a soft blanket and a movie marathon, Neko is your girl. True to her name (Japanese for "cat"), she has mastered the art of the nap. Neko is a world-class "couch potato" who prefers belly rubs to marathons and short strolls to long hikes. She’s a "portable heater" who thrives on attention and will happily strut her stuff to show you how much she loves being your one-and-only. While she’s lived successfully with cats, dogs, and kids, Neko is ready to be the center of someone’s universe. She may give a happy bark of overexcitement when meeting new little friends, but it’s just her way of saying "I’m here for the pets! Neko is a high-info dog! We’ve done the legwork for you with full DNA and sensitivity testing, so managing her seasonal allergies is a breeze. Will provide: - DNA Test Results - Sensitivity Test Results - Detailed Vet History

Story
Quinnys story started in southern New Mexico, where she was born in June 2022. We brought her home from a shelter in August 2022, and she quickly became part of our family. She loved having space to run, explore, and play in the National Forest, even getting to experience snow during the winters there. In November 2023, Quinny made the big move with us to Florida. During that season of life she was right there with us as we welcomed our two newborns into the family. She has always been gentle and curious with them, though like many dogs she can become overwhelmed when little hands grab at her. Over time we’ve also discovered that Quinny doesn’t get along well with our other dog. Because of this, we’ve had to keep them separated constantly, which has been really difficult for everyone and isn’t the kind of environment we want for her long-term. Because of that, we believe the best thing for Quinny is to find a home where she can be the only dog or in a better-fitting environment.

Story
Zella was found in the middle of a busy highway at about 4 months old. She has been spayed and gets a yearly rabies shot. She does well with our other large dog and small cat. She is sweet and friendly. She is young so she has plenty of energy and would do well with a fenced yard or owner who can walk her regularly. She has some food aggression towards other animals. This problem was solved in our home by feeding her separately. She does also show some placement aggression. When laying on the couch or bed, if we forcefully disturb her/move her she will growl and recently snapped. This is why we are rehoming. We have an infant and foster children and cannot train the aggression without potential child displacement.

Story
***We have been working with poppy around cats and she has learned very quickly to treat them gently and with respect. Never unsupervised yet but she’s showing real improvement around them!*** She’s one of the biggest sweethearts I’ve ever met. Poppy is assumed to be a hound mix, originally rescued in lower Alabama when she was about 4 months old. She’s loves to love on her people and practice commands for treats. In a heartbreaking turn of events she needs to find a new home where she will be loved on. She would be best in a home without cats, or with a patient new parent who is willing to very very slowly train her to be okay around them. They scare her and she can get defensive around them. Rehoming fee includes leash, kennel, food bowl, food and a month of her current flea/tick/heartworm (Simparica Trio)
