Story
Peanut is a senior mixed breed, presumably part pug given the markings on his face. He is around 20 pounds, and 15-16 years old. (We aren't sure because dad adopted him from the humane society.) He is neutered. We learned a few weeks ago that he has a heart murmur, and he is on medication. He is losing sight and hearing, but neither completely. He belonged to my recently deceased father and is accustomed to being an only dog. He tends to challenge other males, even if they are much bigger, so he probably would do best continuing as an only dog. We have never had him around kids, but I don't think he would do well with them. (He definitely does not like to be picked up, for example.) He likes to go outside in the yard and also to snuggle up with his person. My sister and I would love to keep him, but we have moved abroad and already have 6 other dogs and a cat. We just don't think he could thrive there. If you like senior dogs, he will make a great family member

Story
Hi! This is Nani Chai, a sweet 1-year-old pup (approx.). I got her at 8 weeks old on May 16, 2025, from an unexpected litter. Due to some unexpected life changes, I’m no longer in a position to give her the time, training, and consistent care she deserves. She is currently staying with a family member, but I want to find her a home where she will receive the love, attention, and structure she truly needs. Nani is: * very sweet and affectionate * energetic and playful * a little sassy in the cutest way 😊 * in need of continued training and consistency She would do best with someone who: * has time and patience to train her * can give her regular attention and activity * is committed to providing a stable, loving home This is not an easy decision for me I love her dearly but I want what’s best for her long-term. Please message me if you’re interested or have any questions. I want to make sure she goes to a safe and loving home 🤍

Story
Brownie was found with her sister a little over 2 years ago. Her sister did not survive unfortunately. She is very wary and slightly aggressive towards strangers, but one treat is enough to change her attitude. She is very loving and gentle. She is very energetic and almost always jumping with joy when I get home. My ex-wife left her here a little over a year ago, and I don’t have the time to give her the attention and affection she needs. The other dog in the last photo is Cocoa, I have a profile for her as well.

Story
Hello! Here are some things you should know about Benny. We got Benny when he was just 2 months old from a family member. He is now 5 months old and is very well behaved. He is both a indoor and outdoor dog. He definitely loves people and enjoys playing. Unfortunately my family can no longer keep him for I am occupied taking care of my special needs child and toddler. I’m hoping to find a loving family that has experience with pets and has time to take care of him.

Story
I got him in college from someone who was giving away puppies, and he has been a loved part of our family ever since. He is 12 years old, but you would never know it by his energy and spirit. He has always been in great health and is still doing very well. He is a well-behaved, sweet dog who loves being around people, especially kids. He has been great with our children and enjoys being included in family life, whether that is relaxing around the house, getting attention, or spending time outside. We are looking for a loving, caring, and stable home where he will be treated like part of the family. Because he is still energetic and enjoys attention, he would do best with someone who can give him companionship, affection, and the care he deserves.
