Story
Peanut is a senior mixed breed, presumably part pug given the markings on his face. He is around 20 pounds, and 15-16 years old. (We aren't sure because dad adopted him from the humane society.) He is neutered. We learned a few weeks ago that he has a heart murmur, and he is on medication. He is losing sight and hearing, but neither completely. He belonged to my recently deceased father and is accustomed to being an only dog. He tends to challenge other males, even if they are much bigger, so he probably would do best continuing as an only dog. We have never had him around kids, but I don't think he would do well with them. (He definitely does not like to be picked up, for example.) He likes to go outside in the yard and also to snuggle up with his person. My sister and I would love to keep him, but we have moved abroad and already have 6 other dogs and a cat. We just don't think he could thrive there. If you like senior dogs, he will make a great family member

Story
Toby is a four year old good boy. He is completely housebroken and loves to cuddle and get plenty of hugs. Great with other dogs, but definitely not cats. He loves children!! I’ve recently gotten a divorce and have started to work more hours and unfortunately, I’m just not at home enough to give him the attention that he deserves.

Story
Brownie was found with her sister a little over 2 years ago. Her sister did not survive unfortunately. She is very wary and slightly aggressive towards strangers, but one treat is enough to change her attitude. She is very loving and gentle. She is very energetic and almost always jumping with joy when I get home. My ex-wife left her here a little over a year ago, and I don’t have the time to give her the attention and affection she needs. The other dog in the last photo is Cocoa, I have a profile for her as well.
