Story
Annie is a sweet older girl whose owner died, leaving her looking for her new forever home. She’s about 20 pounds of mostly terrier and chihuahua. She has a very strong prey drive and would love to help you keep squirrels and other critters out of your garden. Although she loves other dogs, she should not be allowed to interact with them unsupervised until you know they’re safe together and is not suitable for a home with cats. Because she is both small and older - we estimate her to be about 8 years old - she’s happy with a small yard and easy walks. Although she isn’t currently potty trained, she’s smart and eager to learn. Annie would be happy to hang out with you while you read or watch TV. She’s used to a quiet household and is content with moderate activity.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Poquito is a 65 pound loving boy with a big heart, lots of energy, and an intelligent mind. We adopted him from our local shelter where he was listed as a corgi mix. A dna test showed us that he is Belgian malinois, German shepherd, husky, and… chihuahua! We finally knew where his short legs came from! He loves to play with other dogs, go for walks, play fetch, tug of war, and chew his toys (he needs the extra tough stuff). He is house trained and crate trained (currently sleeps each night in his crate). Poquito is also great in the car. We’ve taken him on 8+ hour road trips with no issues. In the summer, he loves to get wet whether it’s the hose, sprinklers, or a splash pad. With a child on the way, we can no longer dedicate the time and energy to Poquito that he deserves. The right home for him will provide daily mental and physical enrichment, in a loving but structured environment.

Story
Doja is a little over 1 year old and is the sweetest cuddle bug! Unfortunately with my schedule she is home alone more than she would like. Doja would be happier in a home with another dog to keep her happy or someone that works from home. She is a bit shy at first but once she comes out of her shell you can't get enough of her! She is in great health, potty trained, leash trained, and up to date on all vaccines

Lola

Davis, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Age: 4; Birthday: March 16 2022. Personality: Lola is a social, active, and energetic dog. She’s loves pets and cuddles and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She can be independent but ultimately loves to be around people. Lola is well trained and listens to commands such as sit, lay, stay, paw, back up, and jump. She is also crate trained since she’s been primarily living in apartments. Lola would greatly benefit from having a house with a yard she can run around in but also a space indoors. Additional information: Lola’s immunization records are up to date. She gets allergies during the spring and her ears/tummy can get red but if those areas are cleaned or treated with hydrocortisone, it prevents it from getting bad.
