Story
My husband brought Oreo home as he was abandoned and a homeless person had his litter and was giving he and his litter mates away. He was between 4-6 weeks old when we got him. We had him dewormed and vaccinated and introduced him to Chip. He and Chip have been together ever since. Oreo has a calm demeanor but is cautious or new people. Once he started growing he started showing his dominance to Chip. He is my Velcro dog and does not want Chip to get close to me. He will quickly correct Chip. For this reason, Oreo would do well in an only dog household. Oreo is 6 years old, and loves to nap and be a lap dog.

Story
Hello, I adopted Wilson from Stanislaus County animal shelter early this year. He was on their danger list. He was known at the shelter as being the friendliest dog. They would use him to see if new incoming dogs were friendly. Upon bringing him home he wanted to meet my existing dogs right away. I planned to wait a few days but he could not wait. He loved them immediately and they loved him. The reason I have to rehome is that in April, he slipped his lead and broke into a coop and killed 12 of our chickens. We continued to work with him by training him that chickens were pets also. Everything seemed well until yesterday. My husband arrived home to find him slipped off his lead again and this time he broke into 3 coops and proceeded to kill 35 of our chickens. He would benefit from a home with a large yard, other dogs and no chickens or rabbits. He loves running along side you and has tons of love to give. He quickly grew in my heart and it pains me to have to rehome him. Thank you.

Meet Moose! He is extremely playful and a really good boy. He loves being social. He is not a fan of cats but gets along great with other dogs. He loves to run around with the kids. Moose is kennel trained. He would be an amazing farm dog as he is really good at catching rodents. Moose is also really good at loving and protecting his people.

Story
Ruby is a very sweet seven-year-old dog. We rescued her five years ago when she was abandoned and she’s been a good dog to us. She loves baths. She loves to go on walks. She loves people and cuddling. She just wants somebody to snuggle with her and love her, she loves to play dress up and is a really good dog very well behaved understands some commands like sit, stay, lay down , and no. She gets along great with cats and she’s fine with the small dogs that she knows; dogs She does not know she has a very hard time with and can be aggressive.
