Mutt puppies and dogs in Lodi, California

Hi there! My name is Aja and this is probably the most difficult thing I’ll have to do, but I am looking to re-home my fur babies. I will be moving to New York in about a year and wanted to give ample time to this process so I can ensure they find the right home(s). Here is a little information about each dog. I would prefer, but don’t require that they go to the same home. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. When Saaka came into my life he was only three weeks old. A past coworker in Texas had called asking if I wanted a puppy, that it was young and he was going to "put it down" if I did not want him. I immediately said yes. At the time I was living good enough in life, and had another dog who I thought would enjoy having a companion. He has traveled the United States with me and always protected me in times of need. We have been each others companion just us for the last two years after my older dog crossed rainbow road. This year has been hard for him and I. I came to the conclusion that I need to do my best to find him a home that will continue to give him the life we had at one point. He was not raised with many dogs and is protective of women and children. He is high energy. Often his scary exterior hides the large heart he has. He even pays rent aka "hand shake". I blend his food because he cannot keep down any solid chunks. He has been an amazing companion and deserves love.

Calliope is just over a year old, we are honestly not sure what her breed is, but starting to think she is some kind of working dog. She has A LOT of energy! Loves being outside, definitely needs a yard. She is kinda awkward (all long legs 😂) she definitely always needs chew toys accessible and loves balls. We originally got her to be friends with our pitbull, however turns out our pitty has cancer and just cannot keep up with Calliope, and Calliope really needs someone who will be active with her. We have a 4 year old child, and she is pretty good around him, however, she does get over excited about balls and is possessive over them (we are working on it with a beep collar) and she does try to herd our son when he runs. So I would personally recommend her to a house with older kids/no kids unless you are committed to training her better. Calliope is a really good dog, and she is sweet, but unfortunately is not the right energy/temperament for our household.

Debo is a year old. He is deaf and has a lazy eye. He’s friendly with other dogs and cats. He needs someone that will show him affection and spends time with him.

This sweet, wonderful dog was surrendered to me by a neighbor due to neglect. I would suspect he’s about a year old. He is not house trained. Or leash trained. He jumps on everybody. But he is so smart and so eager to please, and I have absolutely no doubt, with minimal training he will be just the best dog. He is great with my two small dogs and my two cats. He is high energy, but I think that mostly has to do with age and being a dog lol. He also loves to snuggle and can just chill with his people and furmates during downtime. He has yet to be left alone, so I’m not sure how he’d do there, but I suspect it wouldn’t be his favorite. This sweetheart just wants to be part of a loving family. If I had the resources, as he’s already stolen my heart with his affection, I would keep him. I selected “mutt” for breed as I’m not sure what kind of dog he is, though he does appear to have a docked tail. Please reach out with any questions and let’s find this guy has forever family.

Paisley is an absolutely adorable 4 1/2-month-old Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua) mix weighing 9.5 pounds, with a lovely tan, smooth coat. She was born (04/7/25). She’s a little shy but very sweet, and she’s looking for a loving forever home—either alone or with her siblings Piper, Parker, and Prince. Her story is heartwarming—her mom was purchased for just $20 from a homeless man, and when she was pregnant, the family who bought her didn’t realize she was expecting. Thankfully, she delivered her puppies safely, and now Paisley and her siblings are ready to bring joy to new families. Paisley is scheduled to be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
