Orthos is a lovable dog but only with adults. He has been trained and is very needy with love. Unfortunately he hasn’t been a fan of our toddler. He gets very tense whenever he walks by and has occasionally growled at our son. He did try and nip another child. But otherwise is really loving.

Mixed Sheppard husky breed 8yrs old Approx 75-80lbs Does well with our cats and dogs Barks at other animals who come on the property Has some training and follows basic commands. Moving and can’t have pets Doesn’t like people coming in the property. Does fine when people enter the house when invited. Hours been an inside dog her whole life

Maya is a sweet, goofy, and adoring Mexican street dog. She was rescued as a puppy at the top of the Mirador del Cristo overlook in Taxco, Mexico.Maya is 5.5 years old and 65 pounds. She is smart and very eager to please. She has an easygoing demeanor and gets along well with other dogs. Maya is spayed, house trained, up to date on vaccinations, and has no health concerns.Maya has been living with two other dogs. She has never lived with children or cats. Due to challenging family, financial, and medical circumstances, her current owner needs to find a new home for her.

Lily is a sweet 5.5 year old Mexican street dog, probably a shepherd mix. She was rescued as a puppy at the top of the Mirador del Cristo overlook in Taxco, Mexico. Lily is a gentle soul. Timid at first, she warms up very quickly to anyone taking care of her. Lily loves to give kisses and stare into your eyes while you stroke her face.Lily is 65 pounds, housetrained, and up to date on vaccines. She had knee surgery for a torn ligament a couple years ago and recovered well.Lily has been living with two other dogs. She has never lived with children or cats. Due to challenging family, financial, and medical circumstances, her current owner needs to find a new home for her.

Remi is a lovable 2-year-old “Super Mutt” with a unique mix of Poodle, Pomeranian, and Chihuahua (confirmed by her DNA report!). She’s a small-to-medium-sized pup with a beautiful dapple coat and an irresistibly cute face.We adopted Remi from a local rescue over a year ago, hoping she would be a companion for our 3-year-old Dachshund. Meet Cole! This adorable little guy is a 4-month-old (born approx. 12/19/25), 6.9-pound black and white Chiweenie mix with a big personality packed into a tiny frame. Cole’s story started off rough—he and his brothers, Corbin and Casey, were heartlessly dumped in the countryside near a busy highway. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan rescued them and brought them to safety at AFC. Now, all three boys are ready to find the loving homes they truly deserve. As a young puppy, Cole will need guidance with house training and will require leash training once he is fully vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered and is already microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. Cole is full of love, curiosity, and that irresistible puppy charm. Meet Casey! This adorable 4-month-old Chiweenie mix (born approximately 12/19/25) weighs just 6.8 pounds and sports a handsome fawn coat. Casey and his brothers were heartbreakingly abandoned on a rural roadside near a busy highway, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, they were rescued and brought safely to AFC. Casey, along with his brothers Corbin and Cole, is now ready to find a loving forever home. As a young puppy, he will need continued guidance with house training and will require leash training once he is fully vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered and has already been microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
