Mutt puppies and dogs in Lodi, California

Hello, I adopted Wilson from Stanislaus County animal shelter early this year. He was on their danger list. He was known at the shelter as being the friendliest dog. They would use him to see if new incoming dogs were friendly. Upon bringing him home he wanted to meet my existing dogs right away. I planned to wait a few days but he could not wait. He loved them immediately and they loved him. The reason I have to rehome is that in April, he slipped his lead and broke into a coop and killed 12 of our chickens. We continued to work with him by training him that chickens were pets also. Everything seemed well until yesterday. My husband arrived home to find him slipped off his lead again and this time he broke into 3 coops and proceeded to kill 35 of our chickens. He would benefit from a home with a large yard, other dogs and no chickens or rabbits. He loves running along side you and has tons of love to give. He quickly grew in my heart and it pains me to have to rehome him. Thank you.

Solovino is a stray dog we found infested in fleas, no home, no food, and attached to a homeless man. He is vaccinated. The vet thinks he is about 2-3 years old. I do not know his breed. Solovino is a good dog. He is an indoor/outdoor dog, sleeps in a crate at night. He will need a yard and it will need to be gated or he will escape. He does not bark when I am home unless unknowns, but when I am not here, he has separation anxiety and can handle some days really well and some days not. He will bark or howl when left alone for long periods of time. He does not like being left alone inside the house. He barks and gets himself worked up. He paws at the door to go outside and paws at the door to come in. He is very loving, loves attention, playfull, loves toys, loves treats, being petted, and will lay next to you. He needs someone that will be home more than not. He loves attention and needs his person near him.

This is Jack. He’s a good boy with lots of energy. He was abandoned by his owner and we currently have indoor cats. Unfortunately they aren’t compatible. He is very sweet but easily excited and has occasional accidents.

Hi everyone, I'm rehoming this sweet girl for my grandparents. She was going to be euthanized so they took her in but they are at a point where they can't take care of her and I want to make sure she is well taken care of. She's really sweet and gentle, but does have a tendency to run out the door so you have to be mindful about that. She's a mix so I'm not exactly sure what breed she is but she's calm and loves being around her people.

Benny is a 9-year-old Pit Bull/Labrador mix who has been a cherished member of our family for the past three years after we adopted him from a local shelter. He is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Benny is incredibly gentle, rarely barks, doesn't jump on people, and has a calm, laid-back personality. He loves to cuddle, enjoys being around his people, and is affectionate with everyone he meets. He is house-trained, does all of his potty business outside, and is perfectly comfortable being left home alone for several hours. Benny does have skin allergies that require medication. Unfortunately, the cost of his ongoing medications and the veterinary care he currently needs has become more than our family can afford. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we want to do what's best for him and find a family who can provide the medical care he deserves. He does shed, but his loving temperament, easygoing nature, and wonderful manners make him an amazing companion.

Meet Sweet Sapphire! Sapphire, along with her sisters Scarlett and Samantha, began her life's journey on the streets of Stockton after the three puppies were found abandoned in a box. Thankfully, they were rescued and are now safe, learning that people can be kind and loving. They arrived a little shy, but every day they become more confident and playful in their foster home. **Fostering truly saves lives!** Sapphire is the shyest of the three sisters, but she has the sweetest, most gentle personality. Once she feels safe, her loving nature begins to shine. She is mostly black with adorable white markings and is believed to be a Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix). Born approximately **April 3, 2026**, Pretty Sapphire is **3½ months old** and weighs **7.7 pounds**. Like all puppies, she will need patience and guidance as she learns house training and, once fully vaccinated, leash walking. With consistency, love, and positive reinforcement, she'll grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.
