My husband brought Oreo home as he was abandoned and a homeless person had his litter and was giving he and his litter mates away. He was between 4-6 weeks old when we got him. We had him dewormed and vaccinated and introduced him to Chip. He and Chip have been together ever since. Oreo has a calm demeanor but is cautious or new people. Once he started growing he started showing his dominance to Chip. He is my Velcro dog and does not want Chip to get close to me. He will quickly correct Chip. For this reason, Oreo would do well in an only dog household. Oreo is 6 years old, and loves to nap and be a lap dog.

Story
Benny is a 9-year-old Pit Bull/Labrador mix who has been a cherished member of our family for the past three years after we adopted him from a local shelter. He is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Benny is incredibly gentle, rarely barks, doesn't jump on people, and has a calm, laid-back personality. He loves to cuddle, enjoys being around his people, and is affectionate with everyone he meets. He is house-trained, does all of his potty business outside, and is perfectly comfortable being left home alone for several hours. Benny does have skin allergies that require medication. Unfortunately, the cost of his ongoing medications and the veterinary care he currently needs has become more than our family can afford. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we want to do what's best for him and find a family who can provide the medical care he deserves. He does shed, but his loving temperament, easygoing nature, and wonderful manners make him an amazing companion.

Story
Bailey is a loving dog. We got him when he was about a year old and have had him for about 5 years. He is very playful and affectionate. He plays well with our other dog but has shown some anxiety towards or neighbors big dogs. We would love to keep him but after having our first child he has shown a hard transition to the change in the home. He has always done well with my young siblings but he has started to show aggression towards my toddler. I believe he would do best in a home with no kids or older kids. He also developed a fear for fireworks. He is a healthy boy, but does have anxiety towards fireworks and the vet. He requires medication to help him calm for vet visits. Other than that he is a very loving dog. He just needs more attention and for my son’s safety he unfortunately needs a new home.

Beesly is a great dog that I’ve had for a few years. She’s well trained and well behaved. I’ve never had problems with her. Unfortunately, because I am a firefighter I often spend multiple days and nights away from my home and don’t have anybody that can take care of her, especially during these busy seasons, wildfires are making me stay at work for multiple weeks. I want to find her a great home and somebody that can take care of her and love her.

Hi, Meet Scooby! He’s a great dog, maybe 8 months? He’s friendly, loving, and just a sweetheart. I need to find him a new home, I need surgery soon, and I haven’t been able to take him on walks like I would like to be able to. I’m looking for a STABLE family that their home allows dogs and they have the room and energy for him. He’s pretty mellow, but he is a large dog, so a strong or experienced owner is what he needs.
