Lil mama is fantastic at cuddling with humans. She will give you kisses at a moments notice. She’s got a bull dog rump, tiny little legs that are beafy and strong. She has the cutest little stance when at attention, and is hilarious to watch run after toys. She is kennel trained and food motivated. She loves chew toys and anything she can wrestle with. She’s a blast when she’s playing with a big ball or tire. She is a survivor and loves going on walks and chasing rabbits. She stands her ground when there are threats, human or animal. She would be fantastic to protect your home and family.

Story
Chorizo is adorable and correctly named because he has a long sausage like torso and tiny legs. He’s got a big dog head and little tiny legs, like a corgi. Chorizo was found in the El Paso desert with another dog. He is able to bunny hop and gets so excited he will run laps. He’s superb at cuddling. His hair will be on everything because he’s fluffy and so soft. He has been sweet with a cat, kids who are quiet. He seems to be anxious or fearful with loud noises and voices. So screaming children will make him run to his kennel, he has had submissive pee with a large loud male. In a calm, steady environment he had no issues. He has some scavenging ability and will use it if needed but he prefers any food he’s given. He will pull in a leash but doesn’t with a gentle pinch collar. He’s been a delight and with some stability will meld into most households.

We rescued her in TX. She is 7 1/2 yo ~65lbs. Good with kids. Good with cats. Generally OK with other dogs. She is a good girl, high energy, anxious, barks. She is good with other dogs but can get anxious/defensive with aggressive/dominant types. Is house trained, has occasional accidents. She is a pit/shepherd mix we think.

Story
Nike is a SWEET boy! His whole body wiggles. He loves climbing into your lap for hugs (80 lbs and very tall, long legs) as he thinks he's a total lap dog. He nuzzles his muzzle into your neck for kisses. He loves to eat, even broccoli. He does food steal for treats, etc and should be kept separate from another dog during treat/food time just in case. He LOVES water & swimming. He loves car rides. He loves walks. He loves playing. And playing. And dog wrestling. And playing. And playing. And playing. Our other dog he's been playing with is experiencing serious health issues and hasn't been able to play for 4 weeks. Nike's bored. He's UTD on shots. We have NO idea what breeds he is. He's leggy and tall. He probably has some bully breed in him and think he's got a good deal of hound in him as I've seen him point with his nose and leg. He gets along very well with cats; he tries to get ours to play. He LOVES our foster kitten and always tries to help. He DESERVES the world.

Story
Zahra is 7 years old. She is a wonderful dog who loves snuggles and licking licking the faces of her favorite humans. We believe she is part terrier. She loves being outside chasing rodents, exploring, and going on adventures. She does well on leash, in the car, and is very smart. She learns commands quickly. She can be territorial at first and bark at new people. As soon as she warms up, she just wants to be on your lap or snuggled next to you while you scratch her ears or pet her belly. We hope to find a quiet home for her with space to run outside. She is able to use a doggie door. We believe she is a bit frightened of the unpredictability of our young child. She then reacts defensively. In a home with no children and ideally no other pets, she will thrive. She simply wants to be the only being who is adored in the home.

Story
Milo is a super sweet and loving boy. He has anxiety and needs someone who has time to spend with him. I am a divorced mom who works full time and we are not able to give him the home he needs. He would love a home where he could get daily walks and lots of snuggles, and shouldn't be in a home where he's left alone all day. He is smart and would be easily trainable. He is living with two other dogs and they all get along well, and he's good with other dogs at the dog park. He is great with my kids.

Story
Toby is a very sweet and quiet dog. We adopted him in 2013, and at the time he was very skittish and shy of people with an unknown history. The vet suspected he was about 1 at the time, which makes him roughly 12 now. Toby has thrived since then, bonds well with people, and has been a gentle presence in a home that now has four small children. He still can be skitish of certain types of flooring or sudden movements, but loves to be petted and is a wonderful quiet companion. Toby is not a very playful dog, but prefers to find a quiet corner or just be beside the family. He has never been aggressive towards people or other pets in the eleven years we have known him. We unfortunately need to relocate to another state and are unable to take Toby with us, so are looking for a new loving home for him.
