Story
I adopted her from a rescue in Louisiana, along with her brother. The shelter reported that they were both abused and were malnourished when we adopted. They had the strongest bond and are the sweetest babies. Amber is 5 years old now, loves to cuddle and play. She is skittish around my toddlers, so I recommend a home with older children or no children. She has always been fine with her brother but no longer gets along with him so I am unsure if she will get along with other dogs. I have never seen issues with others before. She is very loving and needs a nurturing environment where her confidence can grow.

Story
Sadie is such a sweet, loving dog. She’s extremely low maintenance, house trained, and rarely barks. She’s 8 years old but still has a very playful spirit. You can always find her with a toy in her mouth, she loves her squeaky ball. She’s lived with other dogs and cats her whole life. She’s been staying with us the past few months as my father-in-law moved into a nursing home which didn’t allow pets. We unfortunately cannot keep her much longer as we are having a baby in a couple months and have two other dogs in the home. We really want to find a good home for her!

Story
Max is a 6yr old male sable color mutt. We adopted him 5 years ago. He was 11 months old when we adopted him from HSSC. He is very loving and cuddly and loves people. Due to many changes in our household, he and our other 2 dogs, 1 male, 1 female no longer get along. He has been with them since we adopted him. We have been assured by the vet he is in good health just alittle over weight. Unfortunately due to my mothers' declining health and his inability to get along with the other dogs anymore we need to rehome him as soon as possible. I believe it would be best if he was the only dog. He is very sweet, loving and loves butt scratches. He loves being with his people. Hes house trained, does okay on the leash but could be better. We just want to give Max the love and attention he needs.
