Max was adopted from the Bahamas August 2022. He was approximately 4 months old when he was adopted. Unfortunately his owner passed away September 2026. He really meant a lot to his owner. He’s a good dog. Plays well with other dogs. Okay with kids. Not sure about cats! He is house trained and loves to sleep on his bed. Loves toys and treats.

Story
Meet Milo, a very sweet polite boy. We adopted him from the shelter in Sebring. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs around 40 lbs. He had a rough start in life, the best we can tell, he had never been in a house before. He was underweight and eats and drinks as if he does not know when the next opportunity might be. He loves his puzzle toys and is super smart and can be fun and bouncy when he is at ease. He listens well and is on the road to learning all kinds of things, he already mastered sit and isn't too shabby at walking on a leash. Milo gets scared and uncertain at times and has severe separation anxiety. It breaks our hearts, but he needs a home where his forever family can dedicate a lot of time and patience to work with him to overcome his fears. He would also do best in a home that has a fenced in backyard and possibly a doggie door, something we are not in a situation to be able to provide for him. He truly is a wonderful dog that needs his perfect forever home.

I found this sweet 1-year-old puppy injured and alone on the streets in Alabama. I checked for a microchip, posted her on local Facebook pages, and took her to the vet and groomer, but no owner was located. When I found her, she had a dirty rusted collar that was too small, was covered in fleas and dirt, and had dirty, irritated ears. She is now clean, healthy and doing well. She is incredibly smart, learns quickly, and has so much potential. She is crate trained and housebroken with no accidents, and is learning sit, down, wait, and here. She also did amazingly well on a 6 hour road trip. She is protective but has never been aggressive toward me. She needs continued socialization, leash training, and patience with puppy biting. She does currently growl at certain things she finds scary or unfamiliar. She needs a loving, active home committed to training, patience, and helping her thrive.

3 years ago we rescued Buster from an Orange County kill shelter. He is incredibly kind and loves to be spoiled. He smiles when nervous - it is the cutest thing ever! Buster is super playful - loves stealing socks and dragging them around the house. When outside he loves to be chased and play with sticks. He is a huge cuddle bug. He is house trained, does great in a crate and is treat motivated. We've also trained him to respect/respond to both deterrent spray and collars which proves that he can be easily trained. He gets along great with children but prefers a somewhat calmer environment. We would keep him, but we have 2 older dogs and one of them has recently decided that he does not enjoy Buster's presence. We want the best life for all of them. He is ideal for a home with NO other pets and loving people who appreciate the cuddles and personality of this little ray of sunshine. All shots and check ups are current and we can provide all the records. Only for a loving home!

Roxy is such a sweet dog. She loves to give kisses and she’s snuggles all the time. She rarely barks and is crate trained. I will say she doesn’t like getting her nails trimmed and she jumps on you when excited, but she is a great dog and will love her new owners unconditionally.Moving out of state which is why she needs a new home, I cannot take her with me. She will be 5 years old on Halloween 2026
