Story
Nina is a 2 year old pittie mix that I acquired from a client of mine (I work as a veterinarian). She was dumped on their property and tested positive for heartworms (don't worry she has been fully treated for this and it should not affect her life long-term). I fell in love with her when I first saw her - she is truly a snuggle bug, wants to follow you around and find a cozy spot wherever you go. She does love to play and go outside, but she doesn't like to stay out for long because she gets hot easily. She previously had a home with 7 other dogs to which did fine with except 1 dog that had a dominant energy to him. She stayed with my husband and I for 6 weeks and was truly such a joy to have in our life. Unfortunately, one night when we came home - her and our other dog got excited and it broke out into a fight. It was quite difficult to get her off of our other dog (our old 14 year old man) and for this reason we cannot keep her.

Story
Charlie is an amazingly sweet and happy girl. After having her for a year and unable to sell our house, we realize that she needs to have a yard or more active lifestyle. She loves to play and can be silly (but still sweet), but we have nowhere for her to do that. Her sister is also up for adoption and they would do extremely well together if possible, but she gets along with every dog and cat that she sees, and people as well. She came from Greenville Animal Care and has been wonderful. She gets very (happily) excited around people and dogs. She has been in the same house with two cats plus fosters and is very gentle with them. Her adoption includes her leash/harness/food bowl/crate. She probably does not need to be crated any longer but we are not sure.

Story
**Meet Paisley. ❤️** Through no fault of her own, Paisley has spent most of her life in a crate. Her owners have faced health challenges and could no longer give her the life she deserves. While the circumstances aren't her fault—or theirs—Paisley has missed out on the simple joys every dog should know: a soft bed, belly rubs, long naps beside her person, and the comfort of feeling like she belongs. Despite it all, she still loves people and has so much love left to give. Paisley isn't looking for perfection. She's just hoping someone will open their heart and give her the chance to spend her remaining years surrounded by kindness, cuddles, and unconditional love. She has waited long enough. Let's make sure the rest of her story is the one she has always deserved. Please share or consider giving this sweet girl the forever home she's been waiting for.

American Staffordshire Terrier Mutt

Female, Adult
Pickens, SC

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Maggie Jane is about 5 years old and was rescued from the streets before settling into a loving home. She was microchipped, though it was difficult to locate last time, so she may need another. She is up to date on all shots. Maggie has become skittish around her owners's young children (2 years and 9 months old) due to their unpredictability. However, she thrives with older kids (8+) who can play with her and help her burn off energy. She's loyal and protective but would be happiest in a home without young children. She has also shown possessiveness and a want to be alpha when living with other dogs. Overall, Maggie is an adventurous, energetic, and loving companion who would flourish in a family that can provide her with plenty of activity and affection.I'd be happy to share more photos as well!
