I just adopted her but shes a very playful energetic 1yr old who is TOO MUCH for my small senior dog - she has ended up hurting him NOT AGGRESSIVELY just wanting to play and I cant handle her and bc of a car wreck injury , my back and shoulders hurt bc shes 45 lbs . She needs an energetic owner ! She i s so sweet , NOT aggressive , completely housebroken (uses doggy door ) but i am having a very hard time handling her - she loves my back yard but my old senior dog (18 lbs ) is terrified of her . She would be great with an owner who likes long walks / hikes (great on leash ) or energetic kids

Sweet Rocky is great with other animals. He’s well behaved and very loyal. Unfortunately with my job sending me to various locations, I won’t be able to keep him after January 5. He has been great for my family, I really hope he can find a great home.

Story
Monroe is the sweetest little bundle of energy. She is a very active dog, but also loves cuddling. I hate to part with her, but I've been laid off and can no longer care for her as she deserves; I'd like to transfer her into the home of a dog lover that I can trust to keep her, lovingly. She is iffy around other dogs, and unfortunately does not get along with cats. Ideally, she will be the only pet in the home, but she has coexisted among my other dog and some of my friends; pets just fine. Approach social situations with caution, she tends to do well around people, but can get overstimulated. As far as I know, she lived on the street for the first year of her life, and at the shelter for her second. In the past two years that I've had her, I've trained her out of many bad habits and she has grown into a wonderful house dog that still loves going on adventures. If you are looking for a new best friend, I would love to introduce you to mine.

Ruckus is a very good dog and has been a true companion. He is always down to take naps but loves walks and suntanning outside. He is goofy and playful and loves with his whole heart. He is an all around great dog.

Hugo was found (likely dumped) by a busy street. He was full of fleas, worms, and a few large bites. I refuse to dump him at a shelter so I will be caring for him until we find the right family for him. Hugo is a very sweet puppy. He is highly food motivated which will help immensely with training. Potty training has been very easy with a schedule. We have had very few accidents. He has done very well meeting all of my dogs. I think he would do great with children given that he is not a very jumpy dog however, adopter would need to understand that he is a puppy that is teething and he will be exploring with his mouth over the next few months. He has been very good with redirection. Please contact if you are interested in adoption and tell me about yourself/family and why you are interested in adopting Hugo. I feel very protective over this sweet pup and will be patiently waiting for the right fit. *home visit and meet and greet with entire family will be required.
