We took in Tanya as a puppy. She is a friendly dog. She likes everyone she meets. She has been a good companion. I had a stroke and can no longer care for her. She is enthusiastic and likes to play.

I got her from a local shelter when she was 6 months old. They said she was a border collie mix. She is now almost 3 years old. She is a very great dog with some menace tendencies such as digging holes, chewing rugs and refusing to go home during walks. She is a timid dog that is scared of loud noises and is very wary of men.She does make an exception guard dog and barks when she sees someone unfamiliar. She loves to chew on bones, run around the yard and get belly scratches. She does well with other dogs. And she seems to interact okay with young kids. As I have stated she does get scared easily. She is house trained. Loves to go for long walks. I love her to death and I would like to rehome her to someone that is preferably female and very gentle. I hope that she can go to a home with another dog and have a big yard to play in. Someone who is very active and will take her on lots of walks.

Story
Zeke is a dog that people need to earn his trust. Until that trust is earned he will bark at folks. This is one where an adoption may take time and multiple visits before going home. Once that trust is earned he is loving, affectionate, playful and cuddly. Zeke was rescued from a neglect situation within our family. After brought into our care Zeke was neutered and brought up to date on his vet care. He still struggles with the aftermath of food insecurity and we find that being consistent with feeding time helps keep him calm and prevents unwanted destruction. Zeke has a lot of energy. First thing he does when let out for bathroom breaks is run laps around my 1+ acre yard. He would benefit from a large fenced in yard with room to roam. A farm would be even better. He is young and eager to please. Zeke does not do well with cats as he chases and trees them. We are unsure of how he will react to children. My observations have been that he barks at them the same as adults he meets.

She is a phenomenal dog with a heart of gold who needs a structured home and an experienced handler.Sunny is:• Super sweet, caring, and wonderful with children• Fully house-trained and crate-trained• Accustomed to an electric fence• Best as the only female dog.• Highly reactive to men and dogs outside the home• Fed separately to avoid resource guarding. She shared toys and plays great with her housemates. She needs a family dedicated to managing her reactivities safely, as public walks/outings can be very challenging.💰 Rehoming fee: $0
