Story
Hi, I'm Pepper, a 3-year-old girl who's affectionate, cuddly, and so ready to shower you with love! 💕 I weigh about 38 pounds and get along great with other dogs, making me a wonderful addition to a multi-dog household. I'm gentle and friendly, and would fit in well with any kind of family! I prefer cuddles over activity, and would be the best cuddle buddy/couch potato. I love people and would be a great friend to take to a restaurant patio.🐾 Please come meet me — I promise you won't regret it! ✨

Story
I adopted Dezi from a Humane Society 11 years ago. She was a stray dog on the streets of Puerto Rico. Dezi is a sweet cuddly 13 year old Black Mouth Curr mix. She is extremely loving and loves children. Unfortunately, Dezi has extreme separation anxiety. When left alone, she becomes destructive. After we welcomed our son into the world, Dezi’s anxiety has only worsened. We have to work, and she does not like that. She also has a very high prey drive towards all animals except dogs so she must be leashed at all time when outside. She will bark/growl at other dogs, but she will not attack just needs to be introduced due to a history of other dogs attacking her. The ideal home would be someone who works from home or is just home most of the time. She is excellent with children of all ages, and has a preference towards men but still loves everyone equally.

Story
Zeva is a 7-8 year old cattle dog mix. She is a rescue dog that came from down south. We believe she was about 1.5 years old when we adopted her. Not much is known about her first year and a half of life, except that she had a litter of puppies at one point. She is an incredibly sweet and loyal dog and it breaks our hearts to let her go, but my husband and I had a baby a little over a year and a half ago and she has struggled with the adjustment. Zeva would thrive best in a home with no children or other pets. She is extremely smart, a quick learner, and is quite obedient (knows sit, stay, down, come, paw, bed, etc.). She is reactive to unfamiliar dogs (pulls and barks at end of leash, whines and shows signs of stress). That being said, she does have other dogs friends and does great with them, but it took very careful introductions to get her comfortable with them. She loves running around and playing but also equally loves curling up on the couch and cuddling or sunbathing outside.

Story
Taco is a 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix. We adopted him from a Colorado shelter six years ago, and he has been a loving, loyal, goofy member of our family.Taco loves belly rubs and being with his people. Whether relaxing at home, going for walks or hikes, or playing in the water, he's happiest by your side. He is house-trained, has good recall, but can be hit or miss with other dogs due to some social awkwardness.Taco does have some anxiety with beeps and loud noises to where we have realized a home with two small and active boys is not the best for him.Taco would do best in a quiet home with adults or older, dog-savvy children who respect his space. He is a wonderful companion with so much love to give.
