🐾💕 Meet Pepper! 💕🐾 Pepper is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how anyone could ever let her go. This sweet girl is one of the most loving dogs you could ever meet, and she has the perfect combination of playful energy and serious cuddle skills! Pepper LOVES to play and run around, and if you pull out a squeaky toy, you better believe she’s ready for a game of fetch! 🎾 She could happily chase her favorite toy, bring it back, and do it all over again. But once playtime is over, Pepper is more than happy to settle in beside you for some quality cuddle time. ❤️She is also incredibly social and has done wonderfully with other dogs. Big dogs? No problem! Little dogs? She loves them too! 🐶 Pepper even gets along with cats, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet household. And kids? They are Pepper’s BESTIES! 👧👦❤️ She loves being around people and seems happiest when she is included in whatever her family is doing. Pepper is also kennel trained, which makes life a little easier for her future family. She is currently going through heartworm treatment, but don’t let that scare you away. She is already on her way to getting healthy, and before you know it, she’ll have that chapter behind her and be ready for all the adventures ahead. ❤️ Pepper is playful, affectionate, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, kid-friendly, kennel trained, and absolutely loves her people. Honestly… what more could a family ask for?! 🥹 If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who can keep up with playtime but is just as happy curled up beside you afterward, Pepper may be your girl. Story
Babs is a sweet, smart, gorgeous girl. We love her. We have had her for six months and have finally accepted we can not keep her - financially, my husband and I have had a difficult year and the cost of a dog is too much for us at this time. Additionally, we are first time dog owner and while Babs is a wonderful dog, she is a herding dog and we were not prepared for what it takes to be herding dog parents. Our house is very small and we don't have a fenced in yard. Babs loves cuddles and pets and play. She has some leash reactivity which we have been working on with a trainer (using prong collar and ecollar). Babs was rescued from a euthanasia shelter in Georgia then brought to Maine where we adopted her. She's such an excellent dog but we feel she needs more space in a home and outside to run and roam, and we think she would benefit from having dog siblings to play with and learn from. She definitely needs experienced dog owners who have the time and capacity for a curious pup.
