Story
Benson is five years old, neutered, in good health. and was rescued from a lumberyard in GA. He found his home when he was 12 weeks old. He completed Basic Manners, Intermediate Manners and a Scent work for Fun class. He has lived with 4 other dogs. He is dog selective with unfamiliar dogs. He is reactive to kids. He is a cautious guy, very affectionate, loyal, attentive, an easy keeper with good manners, athletic-he can jump a 5ft fence, and oh so sweet! His canine brother started a fight with him in Oct 2025 and it ended with puncture wounds. It was a traumatic experience for everyone. The boys are currently living in separate spaces in the same house. After working with a behavioralist, a behavioral vet, and the boys living in different houses for 3 months, it has been decided that they cannot live safely with one another. Benson does enjoy and rely on another dog in the household if it's the right dog. Benson is the type of dog that looks into your soul and steals your heart.

Story
To start Benelli is a great dog. I got him back in 2019 when he was only six weeks old. He’s been a great sidekick, but I did get unexpectedly pregnant back in 2021. I’ve tried extremely hard to balance having him giving him enough exercise and attention while also being a mother and having a business. The only reason I want to rehome him is because I know realistically my life is not going to slow down anytime soon, and I can visibly see that he’s wanting and needing more attention and more time outside in general. I don’t want to deprive him of what he needs because I selfishly don’t want to get rid of him. He is great with kids has always been great with other dogs, goes to the bathroom outside. He literally only needs a lot of love and room to run. My heart aches to do this, but I truly believe it’s the best option for him to have a great rest of his life. Thanks in advance for any interest.

My wife and I adopted Cookie from Animal Rescue in Hanover PA in 2018. She is currently 8 years old and approximately 35 lbs.. A year after adoption, my wife was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's. We had to move to a farmette in Carroll County and I quit my job to care for my wife. Cookie spent the next 6 years on the farm with cats and had a great life on the farm. Follow my wife's death in 2025, I moved downtown into a condo to be closer to my new job. Cookie does not do well walking on a leash and my schedule does not allow me to be home much. She needs a larger place to live and run. She really needs a property where she can be off leash and run and play.

Prince is my 8.5 year old rescue mutt. He has been a wonderful companion for me and my other dog the last near decade. Unfortunately we recently had a newborn in which Prince has struggled with adjusting to. We cannot take any risks with the behavior he has shown toward our son. I know already that he does not like kids/babies. He has come a long way with training from when he was first rescued, however he still struggles with leash reactivity and fear aggression with things such as skateboards/scooters/children. Gets along with other dogs after proper and controlled introduction, minus intact males. He does not like intact males or males bigger than him. Prince absolutely LOVES to cuddle, walk, play, and go for car rides. He truly is a wonderful dog, despite his reactivity toward certain things. Please help me find a good home for my sweet Prince.

Story
Mal was adopted from a shelter in Orlando, FL in July of 2021. At the time we were told she was 9-12 months old. She is a very energetic and sweet dog. She needs a lot of activity that we aren’t able to provide her with. She is good with kids, and has been around kids from infant to teen years. Currently there are cats in the home and she has never tried to harm them, she is playful with them and sometimes fearful of them. She has been around dogs from small to large size. She gets along with other dogs. She has never shown aggression toward anyone whether it be a human or animal. We really do love her, but we simply do not have the time or energy to meet her needs.
