I acquired years ago. Over the years, he has come apart of our family. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide the high needs his personality requires. Shadow has grown up around other animals and children but may be hard to warm up to new people/animals. For this reason, I’d love someone with experience and patience with a hyper friend. Although bigger, he is really a big baby. He loves to cuddle and he can be very protective.

My name is Rambo. And yes I am as I look. Attractive, loving & sweet. I grew up with two human brothers, crate in our room sleeping together. Playing, running, walking, chasing balls. I Columbia, MD, I loved that place. But In late Oct 2024 we lost our apartment. Things got bad for my family. A man down the street took me in. Mom said a few week until she got resettled. She used to check on me but now no-contact. He calls her for me and she doesn't answers. My foster is great, stabilized my life. But he really can't keep up with all my exercise needs. Now we moved to Baltimore. Truth is he's right, this neighborhood is not great. We had to stop walking late. Shots, cops, all real around here. Foster said he want's the best for me. Said I need more time walking, running and playing outside. Said here everything necessary to properly care for me he' can't do. That both of our safety & welfare require him to surrender me or find me a safe loving forever home. So I'm Writing, Rambo

We rescued Cosmo from BARCs Baltimore on Thanksgiving week of 2022. He was 2 years old at the time, making him 4 years old now. We are looking for a loving family who has lots of time to spend with Cosmo. He loves being outside sunbathing, has a lot of energy, and loves attention. He is very protective. Unfortunately due to our current financial situation, we're ubable to keep him. All we ask is that he is loved. We don't want to have to surrender him to the pound. If adopted, he will come wiht his bed, kennel, food/water tray, bag full of food, and several toys.

Story
After finding her on Facebook, we recently visited Ember (formally Tweet) at the BARCs Animal Rescue Center in Baltimore. She was super sweet and loving and felt like a great fit for our family. Unfortunately, my son's allergies really act up around her so we don't feel we can keep her. Ember 2 years old. She is kind, loving, and loves to cuddle. She's also rambunctious, athletic, and full of energy. She needs work to be fully house trained but she's smart and seems eager to please. She's great around people but selective around other dogs. She doesn't like her crate (coming from a shelter this makes sense to me) but has already improved in the little time we have had with her. She walks well on the leash. She loves her stuffed animals and doesn't rip them up. She needs a home with people who can be patient with her and give her the time and love she needs/deserves. Ideally she would be the only dog in the house for now until she learns to be more social around other animals.

Story
I purchased Zoey from a breeder in Lancaster, Pennsylvania off of the Lancaster puppies website. Zoey requires a lot of attention and is very clingy. Ive been working from home for the last few years and she has been with me at home through all of it. Im very attached to Zoey but don't believe I am fit to care for her any longer with my upcoming travel plans. I am sad see her go, but I a looking forward to giving her to a family that will take care of her very well. Ideally I would like to give her to someone who is patient, and kind. Her previous dog sitters tells me she needs a bit more time with other dogs otherwise she gets overwhelmed. She get nervous around kids because kids have been rough with her in the past. The ideal person would wfh. If you are in the area, and happen to have travel plans, I can also watch her for you as well! I usually take her places and she fits in my purse or backpack. She is good in public settings, as long as strangers are not touching her.
