Story
Ribeye is a very loving boy. He still has that big puppy energy and is a bit jumpy. He's very excited on walks. He used to get along fine with our other dog Freya, but has begun to act a little more aggressive than we like while having to leave them alone for longer hours. He's a bug cuddler and will be as close to you as possible on the couch, chair, or bed. Of course he's extremely food motivated. We do suggest a home without pets or younger kids and perhaps a bigger yard with a decent fence.

Story
I would like to start with saying that this is absolutely the hardest decision I have had to make. Me and my 2 boys love Layla so much and she has been an awesome addition to our family. We are heartbroken to have to find her a new home so we want to make sure its the best home for her. She loves kids and all people and is always excited to meet people. She cuddles with my kids on the couch and is never more than a foot away. We had to leave our apt and move in to help my mom who has a dog of her own and she does not get along with other animals. She has gone after mom's dog so I have to keep her away. It's not fair to her to be locked in a bedroom. Again she would have to go to a home with no other pets. She cannot go to a dog park. Preferably someone with a fenced yard and kids would be best. Just no other animals. Please feel free to ask any questions and we can set up a day and time if you want to meet her. I know you will love how sweet she is.

Story
Relda is a Belgiun Shepherd/ Blue Healer mix.1 yo. Aug 16. Housebroken & enjoys her crate with door open or closed. She practices Sit, Stay, Wait, Down, Place, Free & Find. Accepts other animals when introduced properly. Very quick to learn new behaviors. Relda is learning manners such as not allowed on furniture, no counter surfing/begging, waiting at door or gate before I give the okay and doesn’t charge food dish. House mates are an 11 yo St. Bernard mix, a 5 yo Cat, a 25 yo parrot. They get along very well. Completed basic training course.Walks on a harness & responds very well. Relda would be great with an active family or single adventurer who can expand her athletic abilities, maybe Fly-ball or Agility? She loves to please anyone who will teach her confidence, go on hiking/camping adventures, walk around the neighborhood, dog parks and she will be happy wherever you are. I am 73, aging quicker than expected. Consider making Relda a new addition to your family.

Story
Kolter is a 7 year old pitbull/boxer mix adopted from Hawaii when he was 9 months old! Kolter is great with kids & cats but doesn’t prefer to be with other dogs. High energy and needs to be in a home with a good sized backyard to play ball! He’s also a solar charger dog!! He’s good on walks, food motivated, knows simple commands (sit, lay down, off, etc) he doesn’t get along with my senior lab so it’s best he is in a home with no other dogs unfortunately.****Adoption fee is priced for him to come with his own food****

Story
Misty is an adorable Pitt terrier mutt adopted a year ago via SPCA in VA (her birthday is June 21, 2025). She is potty trained, crate trained and eager to please. She eats well, and is very energetic, she needs a good family who can spend more time with her unfortunately, our family is unexpectedly relocating to Japan within the next 6 months and on base does not allow her breed. We are heart broken for our family and want to find her a good home. She loves cuddling to sleep and is the best puppy. She is still peeing her self when she gets overly exited or meeting new people. We would love to find her a family that can give her good time outside, she does need to more practice on leash as she can pull a lot but on long walks becomes easy to walk after a while. We want to get her adopted with someone who would be welling to keep us updated as we will miss her so much. We would love to do play dates with prospective adopters!

Story
Honey came from a high kill shelter in 2024 & was adopted by a family who had 2 kids after adopting her. She didn't adjust well to having kids in the house, & was surrendered to us to be fostered temporarily. While she's great in our home, she isn't doing well w/ living in a high traffic area w/ constant noise outside & not having a place to go to the bathroom or on walks without seeing other people + dogs. She's sweet w/ her people, but takes time to adjust to new people & build trust. She has a tendency to growl, bark, & occasionally lunge at new humans in her space, but she has been okay as long as new people give her a very slow introduction. It's best if Honey isn’t brought into other homes with other people—that seems to scare her. On leash, Honey doesn't do well w/ people running past her, & barks/jumps at other dogs. She's an incredibly loving dog who'd do GREAT in a quiet home w/ someone who works from home often, no kids, & very few visitors. She loves snuggles under blankets.
