Story
This is Doug, he’s 3.5 years old. We recently welcomed our first child into the world and he is not adjusting well. He would do well in a home with no other pets/children. (He is good with children over 10) He’s a very loving boy, knows lots of tricks, walks well on leash (with treat pouch). He is house trained and very food motivated.German shepherd, bloodhound, husky, pit bull mix. 80lbs. He’s never gotten out of our 4’ fence in the back yard. Very loyal to his people, wants to be around/never tried to escape. He is up-to-date on vaccinations & flea, tick, and heart worm prevention. He takes amitriptyline and clonidine for anxiety (those are his special medical needs) but could likely be weaned off these. Very sweet and loving. Loves to go on sniff walks and snuggle or sleep in his dog bed. Sleeps in his crate at night but would also sleep in a bed or on couch.

Story
Jim is a 10 year old dog that I have had since he was 8 weeks old. He’s a sweet boy that loves to play and go for walks. He did tear his ACL when he was very young while running through the woods so he does require a joint medication daily since his repair. Circumstances have changed at home and he is not good with kids. Also not great with other dogs. He needs a home with owners that are child and pet-free and patient with his anxiety.

Story
The dog we never wanted but fell in love with! The fostering was supposed to be temporary but son moved and could not take him. Pup had a rough start but now at almost 2 he is great buddy and has completed 2 of 5 pro training sessions to aid him in becoming a polite, good dog citizen. The remaining 3 are paid for and scheduled but-future owner could participate or be gifted those sessions. Gunther loves car rides, playing with toys, walks, chewing antlers, treats and staying close to his people. He runs fast and needs exercise to be his best. He did well in doggy day care and had fun playing with other dogs there. He can be rough with little people and trainer recommends kids nine and older. He’s strong and has a big watchdog bark. He’s also snuggly and sensitive to correction. It is with a heavy heart that we are rehoming him but our lifestyle has changed and we see no other way. He comes with many dog accessories and is healthy and fun and active. Must be kind and love dogs!

Story
Goose is the most loving, cuddly goofball of a dog i’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Unfortunately despite his loving character, we believe past trama has caused some reactivity to small children and with a recent new addition to our family, we have to make the difficult decision to rehome him. He does great with most teens and adults. He is a bit selective with men. Some, he gravitates to with no issue, others he is highly on guard and anxious around. However, if given time to sniff them and go to them on his terms, he melts down for belly rubs. He would do best is a quite home and with someone who is okay with a clingy cuddly dog. No cats but he does well with other dogs however initial meetings need to be controlled. He does have allergies (as does the entire bully community). He gets an itchy rash on his belly that gets better when bathed typically. He’s an amazing dog but we don’t have the resources or space to keep him and our baby safe.
