Story
Athena is a very special girl. She is a Diné Rez dog with dwarfism. I got her from a friend in New Mexico who had a litter of puppies. For the first 6 or so months of her life, we lived off grid on a farm in New mexico where she could run free and she hardly ever went outside of the boundaries. She was the only puppy who was allowed to wander instead of being in a fenced in area because she's so good. About 2 months ago, I needed to move back to Minneapolis. The only place I could afford was a small apartment, and to afford it I am working 45-70hrs a week. Athena is a very smart and active girl. I don't have the time to give her the care she needs. She is in a crate when I'm at work because if she's not she will destroy anything she can get her teeth on. She has her rabies vaccine but that is currently it. Athena needs a family who is home often, has a fenced in yard, and a stable income. There is a $100 rehoming fee just as proof you can afford to care for her.

Story
Remi was rescued from Texas and is a smart, affectionate, food motivated dog who learns quickly. She can be anxious around children. She has become comfortable with our kids and has never bitten anyone, but she will growl at unfamiliar children who come into our home. For this reason, we believe she would be happiest in an adult only home. Remi also does not do well with cats, so a cat free home would be best. She does, however, love other dogs. She enjoys playing with them, and we have never observed her having a negative or aggressive interaction with another dog. Overall, Remi is a wonderful dog who would thrive in a calm, structured home without children or cats, where she can receive plenty of attention, play, and continued training.
