Meet Meadow!! This sweet angel is a snuggle bug and will take all the cuddles you want to give her. She is affectionate and loving and would like nothing better than to make your lap her home. Meadow has been neutered or spayed, given age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, is heartworm negative, and on prevention. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Phoebe was adopted from a 2 week shelter experience. She loves to run, has the herding instinct of a kelpie but is mixed breed. Very intelligent and loves walking. My health has changed. She’s very loving.

Rescued 4 years ago as a puppy, Ziggy is a sweet, curious pup who loves walks, tug-of-war, and proudly shredding his plush toys (he leaves everything else alone!). He uses a gentle leader to help manage his enthusiasm for squirrels, sticks, and new sights. With his adorable face and affectionate personality, Ziggy is happiest curled up next to someone he loves. He can be a little shy at first and may need a moment (or a few treats) to warm up, but he’s eager to please and forms strong bonds. Ziggy would thrive as an only pet, though he generally gets along well with other dogs, and with patience, he can continue building confidence around new people and experiences. Ziggy would make the perfect companion to anyone looking for a sweetie pie to add to their home!

Ophelia is sweet girl with lots of energy for playing and running. She loves her people and wants to be with them every moment (she's fine when we go out though). She's ok with cats but does like to chase. She's not aggressive though. We've had her for 5 years. We are both disabled and can no longer give her the exercise she needs in our new housing situation and our disabilities. She does bark with new people and animals but will warm up after a bit. The reason we need to rehome her is because we have moved into an apartment. We can't take her on runs or long walks and she barks quite a bit for the apartment.
