Buddy is an 8-year-old indoor dog looking for a very specific, experienced home. He is potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, stay, and shake. He loves playing fetch, squeaky toys, and interactive treat games. Buddy can be very affectionate, loyal, and protective of his people.Buddy struggles with anxiety and does not do well when left alone or confined (no crates/kennels). He needs space to move and does best in a calm, structured environment. He has shown aggression, including biting a young child and injuring cats, and does not do well with other animals or children. Because of this, he must go to an adult-only, pet-free home with someone experienced in handling behavioral needs.His vaccines were last updated in December 2023. Records are available. Rehoming fee applies to ensure a safe, appropriate placement.

My father has stage 4 metastatic melanoma and is no longer able to care for Spot. I am desperately trying to find him a good home where he can play and enjoy life. Spot is about 4 years old, neutered, and is up to date on his shots. He’s a mix breed, good with kids and other dogs. He loves to play, go for walks, run around. I don’t know how he is with cats. He uses a doggie door so I don’t know how he will do in someone else’s home. He is sometimes scared of new people and things, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up to people and once he does you are his best friend.

My friend found this dog as a puppy dumped in front of their property in the middle of the country and was unable to keep him. We have kept him and tried to make him apart of our family for the past year. Unfortunately he needs more yard space, but he does really well off leash and doesnt run away. He doesn't do well with small children as he gets excited and pushes my one and a half year old down. He's very energetic and loves his toys. He's not fond of laying with a person and is quite content on a bed on the floor with his toys.
