Meet Snoopy. She’s an adult dog with lots of love. Her owner passed New Year’s Day. We have been caring for her since before then & haven’t been able to rehome her. She loves to play but also likes snuggling up and being lazy. She’s sweet with kids and fine with dogs. She doesn’t belong in a home with cats. I cannot say for certain she’s housebroken. If she has access to outside, she goes outside.

Found near P and NN Highway in Newton County over the holiday weekend. Believe she was dumped but we cannot keep her. She is very sweet and was likely an inside dog. Would be willing to assist with initial vet visit but need a place for her to go immediately.

Story
Bruce was found with a large hole in his chest and he wouldn't use one front leg. The vet sewed up the hole, and had to amputate the leg as he had been shot in the elbow and it was not fixable. He is also heartworm positive, and will come with six months of meds. He is a happy boy, loves to play. Loves other dogs, kids, people. He does play rough so if another dog in home it would be best for it to match his energy/play style. He LOVES to ride in the car and would make an awesome trucker dog.... him being a tripod doesn't slow him down at all. Bruce has been recovering at our home and is ready to find his forever home.

Hi! Zoey is a 6 year old mixed breed ball of energy. She’s a loving, sweet girl who loves long, fast paced walks and playing with other dogs. We have two cats and she got along with one, but the other she didn’t get along with so it’s a case case basis for the cats. She is house trained, but she does have issues still with jumping and pulling on her leash during walks. we have tried to train it out of her ourselves, but she doesn’t respond to our training. We just figure she still has so much energy and she wants to meet new people and interact with things really badly lol. We have the papers for her shots she got a year and a half ago. No rehome fee and will provide a small bag of dog food with adoption. We are only rehoming because we are being evicted and need to move into temporary housing and doing it with our kids and multiple pets is so much and she needs someone who can give her the attention she deserves!

Story
We adopted Wulf as a puppy he has always been high strung, which we attributed to the border collie in him. But as our family grew, so did his anxiety, he has lived in our home with two other dogs, and when his anxiety gets bad, he does lash out at the other dogs. The veterinarian has put them on Prozac, which helped at first but doesn’t seem to be as effective now. Him and my youngest dog got into it and he ended up getting hurt and had to be on antibiotics. Luckily, my parents took him in for a couple weeks so he could heal and during that time in a quieter environment with no other dogs, he did really well. He is a good boy, looking back. I feel like we’ve spent so much time trying to make him conform to our life when maybe we weren’t the right fit for him. I believe he would do better in a home with no other dogs, possibly with an older person or couple who is home more with him and less chaos. He’s smart he knows how to sit and shake he is crate trained.
