Story
Ham was adopted from a shelter back in 2022. He is a very handsome, energetic boy who loves to be outside, snuggle, go for walks, and eat food. He is a 5 year old husky-mix (per dog DNA) and he has the personality to prove it. Ham needs someone that loves to take him outdoors for walks and give him lots of exercise. He is crate trained, house-trained, and knows some basic commands like sit and lay down, and he recalls well to his name. He has done well with me off-leash and at dog parks with other dogs, but he walks best with a prong collar. Ham does need reinforcement with commands and training, if he knows he can get away with something he will continue to do it, so keeping him disciplined is important. Overall, Ham is just a big goof who wants to snuggle and get belly rubs (warning: he will give you kisses). He loves to sleep on the bed with you but he also does well sleeping in his kennel. He is up to date on all shots, microchipped, and neutered. He is a lover boy!

Story
In February of 2024, Boy and Girl ran up to my car and jumped right in. We tried for over an hour to find their home only to be told by multiple people they had been abandoned by their owners. I was told by animal control they couldn’t pick them up until the next week so to keep them from freezing, I took them to my home. After a week, I called to see when they’d be coming to get them and they told me they’d be there that day. No one ever came. I tried and tried to find rescues or shelters or even fosters/adopters in facebook groups to rehome these babies. They are completely bonded. I do believe they’re only about a year and a half old. The female has just come out of her second heat cycle. I have not vetted them and because they were abandoned, I don’t know any of their medical history. They are very loving and need a home where they can run around and play all day. They will come with their harnesses and leashes. Crate and potty trained. Good with all animals and people of all ages.

Story
Lowla was adopted as a puppy in Anchorage, AK. We transferred to North Carolina in 2023. She went from a busy home with multiple pets, fenced yard, doggy door and a noisy teenager to 1 cat and a mom who works all the time. She is a wonderful companion; smart, loving, enjoys adventures and being on the go but loves to nap and lie in the sun. She is not a needy pet. She does like to be with others, humans and animals. She suffers from seperation disorder and gets very anxious when left alone for more than 4 hours. When explosives are happening, her panic is even worse. My dream is to find her a new family/pack where she does not have to be alone for long periods of time. I am looking for a love connection with the right fit. I have tried some medications, and professional trainers. She is a great dog in every way except being left alone. If she could have a family where someone worked from home or stayed a home, we both would be so very happy.
