Story
C.J. is approximately 7 years old. I adopted him back in 2018 from the Cumberland County Animal Control. He is an absolute sweetheart who loves to chill with you inside. He likes to be outside, but prefers if you are out there with him. C.J. knows sit and place commands really well. He knows down also, but may need some reminding as he gets excited. C.J. does have a high prey drive, so it would be best if he's in a home with no small animals and a fenced backyard. He can be friendly with other dogs, but prefers calmer dogs who won't bother him. He prefers to chill and stop playing on his terms. He is great with kids. He might need reminding of his size because he loves to love so much. He also likes to snuggle beside you wherever you decide to snuggle. His rabies vaccine is up to date and he has been on heart worm preventative. He is a quirky goober who would love to be around you as much as you let him. He does get some separation anxiety but providing him with something to do helps.

Story
Max is a sweet loving male pup, neutered, up to date on vaccinations. He does well with dogs but needs to be preferably with a female over a male. He does chase cats so preferably no cats. He knows basic commands and potty trained. He is a good boy and only wants love. I would love to find his perfect forever family who can give him more attention than we can give at this time.

Story
My heart is broken. After over a year, professional pack training, and medicating one of my other dogs to improve pack dynamics, we’ve made the decision to rehome our Kady. Kady is an affectionate, playful, and kid-loving 1 year old diva. She sleeps in bed with us and is great in her crate. She has been fantastic with our other dogs and even loves to play with our goats. Due to the dynamics of our pack, Kady is getting picked on. It’s not fair to her to be in a pack environment. She’d do well in a household with LOTS of attention (she will paw-slap you for pets) and one (preferably a male) or no other dogs. Kady is a mix of “super mutt,” Chow, Lab, Husky, and a few other breeds. She weighs about 35 pounds. No chickens -- she has a very strong prey drive. She is nervous around toddlers but loves older kids. She is spayed, housetrained, up to date on shots and has received regular vet care.

Story
We rescued Fred while living in a Camper in AL. Fred was estimated to be 1 year old. He was fearful and covered in ticks and fleas. He did have worms, but in time and with medicine he became healthy and energetic. He immediately took to our little boy (1yo at the time) and did well with our 11yo dog. Fred is a little unsure of new people but if he allowed the space and people are patient, he comes around. Since returning home and adding another baby to our family, things have become challenging. Receiving less time in the house and less attention, Fred started chewing on things (which we can live with), but as of the last two weeks, he has gone at our older dog twice unprovoked. Fred would thrive with a Family, couple, individual who can give him adequate exercise (he loves 2-3 mile waks and does well on the leash), who loves affection, and has space to run. He is a great car rider too and would be a great life companion for someone in a different phase of life.

Story
Meet Mya. She is a rescue from the parking lot of my apartment complex about a 3 months ago. After not having success finding her owner or anyone that could take her, I decided to try and keep her. Unfortunately, she needs more than I can give her. I work long hours and live in a small apartment. I had someone that asked me to hold onto her for them while they sell their house but the sale is taking longer than expected so I’m looking to rehome Mya again. Mya is a super sweet, playful lab mix that sleeps through the night in her kennel. She is somewhat house trained and very rarely barks. Mya is not fully leash trained and is VERY excitable. She would benefit from a yard to get adequate exercise while her owner has time to leash train her so she can be better socialized. Mya is now up to date on all of her vaccinations. The vet estimates that she is about 6 months old. Please help me find her a good home!
