Story
I adopted Amber from a rescue foster program 8 years ago. She's been a good and loving dog all these years. We decided to put her up for adoption following the birth of our child. She deserves more attention and to play freely but we haven't been able to give that to her with a new baby around. She's 9 years old with the energy of a younger dog. She's goofy and loves to play. Her favorite toys are tennis balls and hedgehog squeaky toys. She loves attention, is very affectionate, loves to be close, and, if you let her, loves to sleep in bed with you. She has general anxiety due to suspected abuse prior to her foster stay. She's on fluoxetine once a day to help with her anxiety and is given gabapentin for high stress situations like car rides and fireworks. She doesn't like cats or dogs as she's had too many bad encounters with other dogs which has led to her dislike of them. She would be happier/more comfortable in a quieter home with no kids or babies.

She needs to be your 'one and only' so she can relax and be the best girl she can be.Pixel is 45 lbs, 6 years old, spayed, chipped, house trained, crate trained, obedience trained, and leash trained.She comes with her crate, dog bed, food/water bowls, collar/leash, and a small bag of dog food.

I am an active duty service member and Due to a hard change in our upcoming living environment and family logistics, I am urgently seeking a safe, experienced placement, foster, or sanctuary for our family dog, Charlie. It has been extremely difficult coming to this decision. Charlie has been with us since he was a puppy and we love him. I wouldn’t be reaching out though if I did not believe this was in his best interest, even if it breaks our hearts. About Charlie: Age: 4 years old Breed: Labrador Retriever / German Shepherd mix Inside the home, Charlie is incredibly loyal and house trained. Charlie is a high-drive mix who experiences stranger reactivity. Charlie has a bite history with strangers when his boundaries were crossed, once he gets past that he is an absolute sweetheart. Because of his stranger reactivity, he cannot be safely placed into a standard, high-stress public shelter, nor would he do well in a high-traffic home with frequent unknown visitors.

Both Knox and Trooper are rescues but we don't have enough time for them anymore and would love for them to find a nice home as they live their golden years. They are both super friendly, they love going on walks or just lazily hanging around the house.
