Story
First and foremost, Scooby is a FANTASTIC dog, and our reason for needing a new home is almost entirely NOT his fault. We rescued Scooby over 2.5 years ago and he's been amazing. Even though he is big (about 65 pounds), he acts like a little lap dog. He's lazy, chill and loves to snuggle. He is housetrained, knows basic commands, neutered, up to date on shots etc. Scooby lives with a younger child, other dogs, ducks, chickens and goats and has never had any issues with anything. We have fostered dogs for over 6 months and he's been nothing but lovely to all dogs in our home. Recently, Scooby escaped the yard and wound up in a fight with another small dog in someone else's yard. Scooby was injured as well. He has since gone after the same dog two more times and the situation has escalated. I want to reiterate that scooby has never shown issues with any other dog for the years we've had him. Other neighbors dogs he is fine with too. For his safety, we need a new home for him.

Story
Meet Precious! She is a sweet mixed breed, about four years old. My family and I have had her for three years and can no longer keep her because she does not get along with other dogs or small children. Precious is very playful when we interact with her one-on-one and loves playing fetch. She enjoys walks, tug-a-war, and long naps. Precious will happily exercise for one or two hours each day and then be ready to settle down and rest. She also loves treat-training and knows many common demands, both verbally and with hand motions. Precious does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. I work from home and enjoy how content she is laying on her dog bed while I work on my computer. She loves being warm under a blanket and is happy to snuggle if you share. Someone who does not often have visitors is preferred, since Precious is easily scared and will bark or run away. She is well-mannered but may act out when she is overwhelmed.
