Story
We got Ollie from my wife's nephew August 1, 2020. His roommate's lab mix had an unexpected litter of puppies, father unknown. He was about 8 weeks old, and has been with us ever since, which makes him about 4 years old. He's a neutered male with all shots, current on heartworm, flea, and tick preventive.
He's timid around new people but warms up quickly. As for dogs, he gets along well with them at the off leash park we take him to--he'll generally seek out the largest dog there, flop on his back, and then try to get them to chase him. He loves to run, but won't really fetch a ball.
He cries in his crate when I leave, sometimes for an hour or so, but I go to work at 5:30AM, 3 hours before my son has to leave for work. He barks at every noise in our new apartment's entryway; we can't sit in the living room in the evening, and it's not fair to him to exile him to the back bedroom.
He's a sweet, wonderful dog, but he's in the wrong place. I'd like to see him find the right one.
