Story
Joey was rescued after Harvey. He loves people and gets along with dogs but not cats. His approx birth was 07/2017. He loves kids and people and gets along with other dogs. His dumbo ears just help make him adorable. He is a digger as my other dogs dig as well due to Texas heat as they love the cooler dirt to lay on. If he decides to slip out to enjoy grass on other side of fence, he comes right back in. He’s a great dog who is loving and easy to care for. Unfortunately due to my cancer diagnosis and treatments, I am no longer able to properly care for him. He is one of three dogs I need to rehome ASAP. Praying for a good matches and loving homes for my dogs.

Story
Bonnie was rescued after Hurricane Harvey. Birthday approx 03/2017. She lives outside only. Amazing snake dog. She will use a specific bark tone and keeps her eyes on the snake until someone arrives to manage snake. At that point she moves out of the area allowing person to manage situation. She loves to ride in truck right next to driver to watch where she’s going. She loves people but fears being trapped and will not allow anyone to just grab her. Once you do grab her, she folds like a noodle to let you do whatever you want. When she builds up trust in you, she approaches you while sitting to allow lots of love and petting. She approaches walking/standing adults from behind using much caution. I believe she was hurt prior to rescue causing her to be skittish especially of men in hats. She loves to play chase with them but not easily ready to be touched by them. She’s a wonderful dog but unfortunately my cancer diagnosis and treatments have made it very difficult to care for her.

Story
Indy was rescued 5+ yrs ago. Estimated birth date is Feb/Mar 2021. He was dumped near neighborhood as a young puppy. Due to his size and age, he demands position of pack leader and bullies my other dogs. He loves people of all ages. He loves to play and participate with people activities. Aside from his need to be the boss of other dogs, he is a great dog to have and easy to care for. Unfortunately due to my cancer diagnosis and treatments, I am no longer able to give him the care and attention he needs. Please consider giving this absolutely beautiful dog a new home.

Story
We adopted Bronson from the BARC Animal Shelter. He is approximately 3 years old and is a playful, affectionate, and energetic dog. He is potty trained, kennel trained, very obedient, and gets along great with other dogs. He is also wonderful with children, as we have children ranging in age from 5 to 14, and he has been a loving and gentle companion with them.We are looking to find him a loving new home not only due to our family’s busy schedules, but also because we currently do not have a fenced-in yard. Bronson needs to be supervised when outside or kept on a leash, as he does tend to run off if given the opportunity. We feel he would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he has plenty of space to play and exercise safely. He is a sweet, loving companion, and we hope to find a family who can give him the time, attention, and space he deserves.
