Story
Meet Cocoa 🤎 Cocoa is a 9-year-old Doberman mix with the sweetest soul. She’s calm, gentle, and easy to have around, but still has a playful side when the moment is right. She loves to relax near her people and enjoys a good play session here and there, she’s the perfect balance of chill and fun. She’s great with kids and has done really well with my 4-year-old, showing patience and a gentle temperament. Cocoa has also lived with other dogs and currently gets along well with an older dog, so she’d likely do well in a home with another calm companion. Cocoa would thrive in a loving home where she can enjoy a peaceful environment, companionship, and someone who appreciates a loyal, low-maintenance dog. She’s past the puppy stage, so you won’t have to worry about chaos, just a sweet, steady presence who wants to be loved. This is a very hard decision, and she deserves a home that will give her the love and stability she’s used to.

Story
I found this dog on my road and the vet thinks she was dumped :( This dog is super sweet. She loves to hangout and cuddle on the couch. She is well behaved. Her only fault is she doesn’t get along with my younger, high energy puppy. She will be an excellent companion for someone in a quiet home without other dogs. She has a lot of love to give 💕

Story
We adopted Shelby in October 2025. Vet did full exam on her in November 2025 and she is in good health. Microchip implanted & she received all her vaccinations. Could not confirm if she was spayed so we waited to see if she had a heat cycle. In February 2026, she did. She was spayed in April 2026. She is about 1 yr 4 months old. Incredibly sweet and cuddly young dog. She has a lot of energy to play and run. Daily walks are needed. She is a quick study and very food motivated to learn what you want her to do. Shelby is crate trained, house broken, knows general commands like sit, and stay. Her young energy and our 2 senior dogs do not mesh well so we've made the difficult decision to rehome her. She will thrive in a house where she is the only pet. Crate, harness, leash, metal food bowl and Kong tennis balls are hers to go with her to her new home.

Story
We adopted Bronson from the BARC Animal Shelter. He is approximately 3 years old and is a playful, affectionate, and energetic dog. He is potty trained, kennel trained, very obedient, and gets along great with other dogs. He is also wonderful with children, as we have children ranging in age from 5 to 14, and he has been a loving and gentle companion with them.We are looking to find him a loving new home not only due to our family’s busy schedules, but also because we currently do not have a fenced-in yard. Bronson needs to be supervised when outside or kept on a leash, as he does tend to run off if given the opportunity. We feel he would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he has plenty of space to play and exercise safely. He is a sweet, loving companion, and we hope to find a family who can give him the time, attention, and space he deserves.

Story
Originally lost dog, shelter chipped him, foster mom took him, my daughter took him from foster home. Good with kids, other dogs & a cat. Does well on a leash. Rocky became territorial with my daughter & didn’t want her long time dog to get close to her. He had no problem with other dog until the other dog got close to her. It broke her heart to take him back to foster. My husband doesn’t want a dog or I would take him. He really is a good dog & deserves a forever home.

Story
Rae Rae is about 5 months old , very playful, he likes carrying sticks, toys are and playing keep away. I found him abandoned by my neighbor after they moved I would go over and feed him thinking they just couldn’t get back in time but they never returned. I travel a lot and feel he deserves an owner that could give him more care.
