Please help me find a new home for my sweet boy, I am getting desperate he really needs a new home. Buddy was dumped in our neighborhood 6yrs ago, we took him in. He is a wonderful dog and protective. I became wheelchair bound in 2024 and it has become hard to take car of him, I am now moving across country to be with family who can help me and I am unable to take him with me. I have am appointment set to take him to the local shelter but I am afraid they may uthenize him due to overcrowding. I would prefer to re-home him. He is wonderful with kids and adults alike, other dogs as well as cats but does like to chase them. I tried to post a video of his interaction with my daughters small dog but it would not allow me to post it, only still photos. Located in Longview Tx.

Story
Sunny and Sprout were abandoned on a county road in Maybank Tx. We didnt want them to be put in a shelter or put down, so we went to pick them up. They were clearly abused and took about a week to get used to people. They are listed together because they are very trauma bonded and they cried, whined and did not eat while they were separated for vet visits. Sunny (the big gold one) has been fixed and they both have their shots. Sprout was to young when we took them to the vet. They are sweet, good with kids, just excitable. They are very protective! Just not living their best life in the city, Sunny jumps fences and Sprout will dig or bite through anything to get to Sunny. We have had to teather them and kennel them at night. It breaks our hearts to have to keep them confined so much but we raise rabbits and can not have them "playing" with livestock. Please spread the word about these sweet dogs, we hate having to "punnish" them for just being good farm dog material in a city home.

Hey Yall Im mateo. I am a very anxious boy but if you give me 30min to an hour I can become your best friend. I recently went through HW treatment and am waitin on my all clear from the doc. My foster mom dosnt have kids so I am unsure how I am with those. But kitties and dogs dont bother me! She tells me I am sweet as pie and that she dosnt doubt I would be amazing with kids.

Hey y’all! My name is rodeo and my foster mom will tell you I certainly will take you on a wild ride ! I have zoomies that will light up your world ! But I do calm down with time. I love tiny toys, running outside and good treats. I’m a little scared of any floor not carpeted as I can’t get good grip and usually go VERY slow on any slick surface. I’m a huge boy but I have a loving spirit and the most kissable big head. I will bring so much joy into your life :)
