It breaks our hearts, but we are looking for a loving new home for our dog, Hazel. She is an 8-year-old pit bull/cattle dog mix with the sweetest soul. Hazel is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and amazing with people. She absolutely loves human attention and will happily be your cuddle buddy or companion throughout the day. She is both house-trained and leash-trained, and she does very well in a home environment with a family or with just one person. Hazel would do best as the only pet in the home, as she does not get along with other dogs. Because of this, we want to make sure she goes to a home where she can be the center of attention and thrive. This decision hasn’t been easy—our circumstances have changed, and we want to make sure Hazel gets the life and environment she truly deserves. If you or someone you know is looking for a loyal, loving companion, please reach out. We just want to find her a safe, happy home where she will be loved as much as she has been with us. ❤️

Story
Nyla is going on 2 years old. She is currently being crate trained and doing well with it. Fully potty trained. Can be very hyper when you initially get home because she just wants all the attention. She’s curious about new people never has shown signs of aggression towards new comers. Hasn’t been too social around new animals, so that’ll take a little bit to get used to. I work a lot so haven’t been able to give her the proper socialization when it comes to that. Leashed trained. Friendly with kids just be mindful because she does think she’s 5 lbs so she tries to cuddle up on them without knowing her own weight. Friendly dog just needs a lot more attention. Very playful. Still working on not grabbing things that aren’t her chew toys.

Seven years ago, Maverick entered the world as the tiniest pup in a litter of big personalities. As the runt, he had to learn early how to keep up with the crowd, but that just made him tougher, sweeter, and full of heart.This handsome Lab/Pit mix may have started out small, but he’s grown into the perfect companion. He’s past the wild puppy stage and has settled into that wonderful, sweet spot where he’s calm, affectionate, and happiest just being near his people. He does like to bark at dogs on TV (even cartoon dogs).Maverick loves the simple things in life—a cozy place to nap, a walk where he can sniff everything, and someone who will scratch behind his ears. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room, always wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing.

However, Jax struggles with high anxiety in loud, unfamiliar environments and around people he doesn’t know. He becomes overwhelmed easily and, when overstressed, may snap if touched unexpectedly. For this reason, his ideal home is a calm, quiet, adult-only household with no young children. He needs a patient family who will read his body language and give him space when he needs it. Meet Coco, a 1.5-year-old beagle mix with a heart full of enthusiasm and a nose that never quits. Weighing about 45 lbs, Coco is the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate charm. Coco is naturally goofy, curious, and treat-motivated — which makes training fun and rewarding for both of you. He’s already house-trained, knows some basic commands, and walks well on leash (though he can be a bit of a strong puller when he catches an exciting scent… which, as a beagle mix, is pretty often!). With a little positive reinforcement and a pocket full of treats, Coco will gladly show off how smart he is. He’s very social with other dogs and loves group play once he feels comfortable. Coco bonds quickly with humans — treats are his love language — and once you earn his trust, he’ll stick by your side. Because we haven’t had the chance to test him with cats or kids, we recommend a proper introduction if his future adopter has either. This happy boy is full of playful energy! Coco would thrive in a home with: Active parents or teens, a moderately playful dog friend (not required, but he’d love it!), and/or someone who enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing basic training.
