Story
Approximate Age: 6 years Approximate Weight: 12 lbs Meet Mantis 🐾 Mantis is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who is learning to enjoy the comforts of home after a rough start in life. She’s a slower warm-up pup who may be shy at first, but once she feels safe her loving personality begins to shine. ● Very sweet and easygoing once she settles in ● Dog-friendly and very polite with other dogs ● Would benefit from having a friendly, confident dog in the home to help build her confidence ● Loves to snuggle up with her dog friends for naps or bedtime ● Excelling with potty manners in her foster home ● Walks nicely on a leash ● Enjoys gentle attention and happily relaxes beside her people for pets and belly rubs Mantis is blossoming more each day and just needs a patient, compassionate home where she can continue building confidence. With time, love, and a canine friend to guide her, she will become a wonderfully loyal companion with a big heart. 💛 ********************************************************************* Schedule a meet-and-greet by completing our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey. Story
Boba is an extremely sweet guy. He loves to run and play and will smother you with love. The only reason we are refining is that we recently moved across the country from a 4 bedroom house with a yard to a 1 bedroom apartment. Since, he has become very scared of all the hustle of an active community. He has never shown a single sign of aggression but he has shown some signs of anxiety and has begun licking himself raw. Hoping to find a good home for him that suites his needs as we are unable to.

Story
We adopted her from a local shelter about two years ago, and she’s now around three years old. We’re looking for an energetic household that can give her the time, attention, and love she deserves. She thrives when she’s active and involved with her family. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle. She absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to her people, which makes her the perfect family dog. She’s loyal, loving, playful, and full of personality.
