  Chloe is a 2&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old spayed Anatolian Shepherd Mix with a heart as big as her 85&#226&#128&#145pound frame! This sweet girl is slowly coming out of her shell and showing off her silly, playful personality. She loves her people and will happily follow you around the house, always wanting to be part of the action. Chloe is equal parts affectionate and goofy — she’ll make you laugh with her awkward zoomies and melt your heart when she leans in for cuddles. She does bark and whine to communicate, so she’s best suited for a family who can be patient as she continues to build her confidence. Chloe is still learning how to walk nicely on a leash and will need some guidance with basic manners. She’s also not a fan of being crated, so a home where she can have a safe space outside of a crate would be ideal. Because of her size and clumsy play style, Chloe needs a home without small children. She’ll thrive with adults or older kids who understand big, enthusiastic dogs. With love, patience, and a little training, Chloe will reward her new family with endless loyalty and goofy joy. Who can open their heart and home to Misty? Misty is an 8 yr old 68 lb great pyr/lab mix and through no fault of her own, the only family she has known since she was a puppy can no longer care for her. We need to find her a foster/foster to adopt home as soon as possible.  Misty does great with cats and with other dogs. She is 8 so she would appreciate a dog who respects her space and would be content to just be there (vs one who wants to play all the time). Misty would love a nice yard or patio to lay around in when it is nice, and to be your couch or dog bed buddy when it is too cold and you just want to curl up and watch TV She is spayed, microchipped, and healthy! She is housebroken and has very good manners If you can open your heart and home this season please consider Misty.. You can foster her for a few weeks to make sure it is a good fit. Meet Banjo, a Resilient Survivor Needing a Loving Home Banjo was found wandering the backroads between farmland in Southeast Missouri during freezing temperatures. A testament to his intelligence and determination, he managed to find his way to a foster temporary hold center and safety with Ms. Leslie. Despite efforts to locate his original family through found dog posts and inquiries at the local shelter, no one came forward to claim him. Consequently, Banjo went to the vet where he received vaccinations and was neutered. However, Banjo's journey to health is not yet complete; he was diagnosed as heartworm positive and urgently needs to begin treatment. Banjo is a sociable dog who gets along well with others and is a natural people pleaser at 60 pounds. His striking good looks and friendly demeanor make him an ideal companion. How You Can Help If you are able to open your home to Banjo as a foster, you will be giving him a lifeline and enabling us to start his heartworm treatment.
