This sweet boy was found in southern Illinois severely underweight, but despite everything he’s endured, his loving spirit has only grown stronger. Chance is the kind of pup who melts into you during cuddles and looks to his people for reassurance and affection. He’s quickly learning that the world can be a safe, happy place, and he’s blossoming with good food, care, and kindness. Chance is eager to bond with a family who will continue nurturing his confidence and give him the security he never had. With his tender personality and soulful eyes, Chance is ready to bring warmth, joy, and unconditional love into a forever home that will cherish him.THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SAVING A LIFE!Volunteers and staff are excited to assist you in the adoption process!   Chloe is a 2&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old spayed Anatolian Shepherd Mix with a heart as big as her 85&#226&#128&#145pound frame! This sweet girl is slowly coming out of her shell and showing off her silly, playful personality. She loves her people and will happily follow you around the house, always wanting to be part of the action. Chloe is equal parts affectionate and goofy — she’ll make you laugh with her awkward zoomies and melt your heart when she leans in for cuddles. She does bark and whine to communicate, so she’s best suited for a family who can be patient as she continues to build her confidence. Chloe is still learning how to walk nicely on a leash and will need some guidance with basic manners. She’s also not a fan of being crated, so a home where she can have a safe space outside of a crate would be ideal. Because of her size and clumsy play style, Chloe needs a home without small children. She’ll thrive with adults or older kids who understand big, enthusiastic dogs. With love, patience, and a little training, Chloe will reward her new family with endless loyalty and goofy joy. Who can open their heart and home to Misty? Misty is an 8 yr old 68 lb great pyr/lab mix and through no fault of her own, the only family she has known since she was a puppy can no longer care for her. We need to find her a foster/foster to adopt home as soon as possible.  Misty does great with cats and with other dogs. She is 8 so she would appreciate a dog who respects her space and would be content to just be there (vs one who wants to play all the time). Misty would love a nice yard or patio to lay around in when it is nice, and to be your couch or dog bed buddy when it is too cold and you just want to curl up and watch TV She is spayed, microchipped, and healthy! She is housebroken and has very good manners If you can open your heart and home this season please consider Misty.. You can foster her for a few weeks to make sure it is a good fit.
