Meet the Fluffiest Little Giants You’ll Ever Love! These adorable pups are a dreamy mix of Newfoundland, Great Pyrenees, and a little mystery, which basically means one thing: giant, fluffy, lovable companions in the making. Right now they’re oversized balls of fluff with personalities just as big as their future paws.Their story started in Missouri, where they were part of an unplanned litter and sadly unwanted. Thankfully, kind rescuers stepped in and helped transport them to Wright-Way Rescue, where their new lives began.Since arriving, these puppies have been living with a wonderful foster family alongside children and other pets. The result? Sweet, gentle, social puppies who are already learning that people are pretty great and that life should include plenty of cuddles.Because of their heritage, these pups are likely to grow into big, majestic dogs with even bigger hearts. That means a few important things for their future families:Lots of brushing to keep those gorgeous fluffy coats looking their bestLarge, soft beds (because royalty doesn’t sleep on the floor)Plenty of love, obedience training, attention, and room for a gentle giantThey’re already showing signs that they fully expect to be very spoiled—and honestly, they deserve it.If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal, fluffy companion who will grow into a magnificent cuddle machine, one of these pups might just be your perfect match. Prepare your vacuum, fluff up the biggest dog bed you can find, and get ready to welcome a lifetime of giant hugs and wagging tails. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SAVING A LIFE!Volunteers and staff are excited to assist you in the adoption process! Contact us at rescue@wright-wayrescue.org or call us today at (847) 728-5434. Story
Meet Nellie Nellie, a Great Pyrenees, joined BAARK when her owner was no longer able to care for himself, much less her. As such, she was in pretty rough physical condition when she was surrendered, but clearly had received plenty of attention and love. Nellie is estimated to be 7-8 years old and weighs about 80 lbs. When meeting new people, Nellie is a little shy at first. We believe that this is because she had very little exposure to new people when with her previous owner. However, in her foster home, with patience and, in following the lead of her new canine friends, Nellie has really blossomed. She now gives kisses and lots of tail wags when her foster mom and dad get home from work. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. In typical Great Pyr fashion, she loves patrolling the fence line and she is especially in tune to large birds flying overhead. Her foster family appreciates her level of alert, as Nellie watches over her much smaller foster brother and sisters in the home. Nellie is housebroken and is just fine being un-crated at home by herself. Nellie joined our rescue organization back in June. She is just becoming available for adoption as she has a long recovery from a mass removal on her paw pad (benign). She has 3 toes on that paw but gets around just fine. Nellie is in overall great health. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. If you are interested in adding this wonderful senior to your family, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.

Meet Igloo! Age: 1 year old Breed: Female Great Pyrenees Weight: About 70 lbs (still a bit underweight) Spayed: Yes Housebroken & Crate Trained: Yes Good with: Dogs ✅ | Cats ✅ | Kids: Best with ages 12+ Requirements: Secure fenced yard (she can’t climb over), no apartment or condo living Igloo is a silly, sweet Great Pyrenees—a majestic breed known for its calm, gentle nature and protective instincts. At just over a year old, she’s still growing into her long legs and tiny waist. She was found as a stray with her sister in Boone County and is now thriving in foster care. True to her breed, Igloo has a thick, weather-resistant white coat and a plumed tail, perfect for cold climates. She’s energetic and playful, loves racing around the fenced yard, and enjoys playing with other dogs. She’s also great with cats! Igloo is making progress on her house manners every day and is already crate trained. She’ll need a family who understands the Great Pyrenees personality—independent yet affectionate—and is committed to giving her daily attention, training, and exercise. Another dog in the home would be a bonus to help guide her. She’s fully vetted: Up to date on vaccinations Heartworm negative and on year-round preventative Spayed and microchipped If you can meet Igloo’s needs and want to add this beautiful Great Pyrenees to your family, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895. BAARK is located in the NW suburbs of Chicago and adopts locally to our area.
