Dog’s Name: Max Location: Fenton, MO Age or Date of Birth: 04/20/2024 Gender: Male Breed: Newfoundland Color: Chocolate/White Dog's Weight: 100 Gets along with: Dogs?: Needs slow intro to dogs Cats?: Unknown Kids?: Have not tested Training: Leash: Pulls on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Occasionally has indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Max! Max is a lovable, goofy boy with a heart as big as his paws! He's full of affection and will melt your heart with his constant requests for hugs and snuggles. Still very much a puppy, Max has a good amount of energy, but it's nothing a few dedicated play sessions a day can't manage. Max loves to play, especially with his brother—but his favorite toy is always the one someone else is playing with! Despite this playful competitiveness, he shows no signs of food aggression and gets along well when playtime is supervised. Smart and eager to please, Max is easily redirected when he gets a bit mischievous. He’s the perfect mix of energetic and laid back, making him a great fit for first-time giant breed owners. While he’d enjoy a home with a canine sibling, Max would also thrive as a solo pup—as long as his humans are around to shower him with attention. He’s a true velcro dog who always wants to be near his people and is happiest when he can see you. Max is kennel-trained and goes in on command, though he prefers not to stay in for too long (about 2 hours is his limit before he starts asking to come out). A fenced yard would be great for him to safely run and play, but it’s not a deal-breaker if you’re committed to supervising his outdoor time. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and loyal companion, Max might just be your perfect match!  Max is ready to find his forever home—could it be with you? Story
Hi, I’m Bear and I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family.  Here's what they know about me so far: Dogs Name: Bear Location: Fenton, Mo. Age or Date of Birth: 08/31/2023 Gender: Male Breed: Newfoundland Color: Chocolate/White Dog's Weight: 100 Gets along with: Dogs?: Needs slow intro Cats?: Unknown Kids?: Have not tested Training: Crate/Kennel: Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Almost fully potty trained Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Bear! Bear is a gentle, affectionate pup who’s just starting to discover the world beyond the kennel—and he’s loving every minute of it! Cuddles are his love language, and he’ll happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. Curious and playful, Bear enjoys exploring new sights and sounds, and testing out toys is one of his favorite pastimes. He’s very intelligent, easy to redirect, and listens well, making him a great option for first-time giant breed owners. Bear is a champ in the car and loves spending time with his brother, though he would also thrive in a home of his own. He does prefer not to share his food bowl—he may growl if another pup gets too close during mealtime—so separate feeding or supervision is recommended in multi-dog homes. He plays well with other dogs and could do fine with a fur sibling, but it's not required. What Bear really needs is a home where his humans can give him lots of love, attention, and patience as he continues learning about life as a loved companion. While a fenced yard is not strictly necessary, Bear should be supervised or monitored if tethered outdoors, as he may try his paw at digging when left alone. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and snuggly new best friend, Bear could be your perfect match! Ready to give Bear the forever home he deserves?
