Meet Alma! She is a 5 month old Newfoundland, Lab, Retriever mix. She will be large in size when full grown, most likely over 75 lbs. She is very sweet and gentle and likes attention and will hop up in your lap! We have learned quickly she loves to take off with toys and balls and enjoys being outdoors. She does well going outside to potty and is doing well in her kennel. She will fuss for a few minutes, but will quickly settle in. Alma is around multiple other dogs in her foster home and is learning the ropes quickly and will sit for treats!If you would like to make Alma a part of your family, please fill out an application at www.aheinz57.com.

His mom is a Great Pyrenees mix, and based on dogs seen in the area, we believe dad may be a pure Great Pyrenees. While that is not guaranteed, Goose is expected to grow into a large, fluffy adult dog. Great Pyrenees are a livestock guardian breed known for being loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. Goose will likely develop these traits as he matures. Because of this, he will do best in a home that is familiar with or willing to learn about the needs of guardian breeds. At this age, Goose is a typical young puppy who enjoys being held, playing, and exploring his surroundings. As he grows, he will need structure, consistent training, and an environment suited for a large breed dog.
