Story
Cowboy came from a letter of 4. We adopted him from a family at 4 mos.that lived on average nearby. He is a sweet , friendly dog . We lived on ten acres. He guarded chickens , goats , and loved watching horses next to our property. He survived an almost drowning rescuing his buddy dog friend he played with. Last year he suffered a ligament tear rear leg knee. He’s recovered with palliative care , gets around , runs, stairs well. He loves children and friendly to any maintenance strangers. He loves to be part of the family . He lives outside , did not take to a doghouse , found his own shelter. He’s basically a gentle giant and loves to guard. Sleeps a lot during day and is not a loud barker , but will bark during night if critter nearby. We recently moved to small lake property due to our age. We were hoping he could remain at the farm , but new owners did not want a dog. He’s content here believe he may be managed by someone a bit younger. Thank you.
