Story
Bear was mellow from day one and his friendliness has really blossomed. He loves tussle with my playful female dog, and he is respectful of my male dog who isn’t as outgoing. On walks, Bear naturally heels and frequently looks up at me with a huge grin on his face. Bear can sleep in some very *interesting* positions. He has a spine like a crazy straw and does very impressive sploots. He knew “sit” already, and since we have been fostering him he has become a pro at “go to jail” (the crate) and he is quickly picking up on “stay.”   April 29, 2024, 8:27 pm

George was going to be euthanized so my husband and I adopted him and his brother, Gus. They are both great dogs. George is really sweet and LOVES cuddling. He prefers to be inside sleeping most of the time but also loves to roam the land. He is great with kids, can be good with other dogs if given the time, and would be a great dog for protecting livestock,

Story
Ollie is 1.5 years old and full of energy. I adopted him as soon as he was old enough to leave his mother. I am coming up on a job change and will be moving and am unable to take him with me unfortunately. He is extremely friendly and will let anyone play / pet him. He’s very curious like any puppy and has to check out everything he finds on walks. I am looking for someone with land or at least a backyard for him to be free in, and someone that is able to make sure he gets plenty of exercise.

Story
This is Green Beans, he is a Pyrenees/Lab mix. He is from a rescue litter born here but is looking for a good home. He is a year old, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is paper trained and house broken. He is indoor and outdoor raised alongside other dogs, cats, and various farm animals. He unfortunately was born with hip dysplasia on one side. He is completely mobile and is able to jump, run, spin, hop, and get on furniture. He is reluctant to stand on his back legs or jump on people and fences. However to maintain mobility and avoid pain we currently have him on Carprofen daily, and we would recommend some kind of joint supplement. We will be requiring a comment that the adopter will continue vet care and medication for his condition. Green Beans is a sweet boy who equally loves playing and snuggling up on a couch. He will make a great companion and friend.

Story
Abigail was given to us from our friends to help raise our sheep. We got her when she was 8 months along with her sister. We were told she was with 6 other dogs on a ranch and learned her hierarchy but still showed aggression towards her sister. Sister is very submisisve. Abigail loves to play with her sister and run the prioerrt. She was also great with our sheep for the past year. She herds them and grooms them. However, when she is in a bad mood or it would rain she attacked her sister and our ram on separate occasions. She would also keep them out of the shelter and growl. She has never shown aggression towards ourselves or young children. She wags her tail when name is called but does not come when called. She would thrive in a home without other pets! We joke and say she is a great dog she just doesn't like her role we need her for. We would absolutely keep her but we have 4 other dogs and she would be better in a home she could be the main star of the show.
